Said often enough but he really was totally underrated. Very gifted talent.
had a lot of pace for a fat guy.
RIP Great Francis Lee...Once a Blue Always A Blue 💙
Thank you very much for this - Francis was fantastic - the best English striker in the early 70s - the best penalty taker I've ever seen, and brilliantly quick thinking and skilful when he had the ball.
Rest in peace, Franny. City legend 💙💔🙏😔🥺
just remember that franny played on horrendous pitches back then which totally shows how brilliant he was,,RIP franny

Was my idol at school met him years later at Doncaster st Leger
A very stylish footballer..RIP Francis Lee
Not just a great goal scorer or penalty taker but also great vision and could pick a de bruyne style pass out. Superb all round player
Bless you sir. I remember being on the Kippax when you waved to a feverish crowd on your first home match as Chairman. Go fight with Hunter upstairs, go hug Colin and Mikey. Miss you already, tremendously.
RIP FRANCIS LEE CLASS STRIKER
RIP Francis will be missed.
The skills - on little more than ploughed fields!
He scored some bangers
I remember Frannie Lee when he played on the wing for Bolton Wanderers late 1960's. The other winger was Gordon Taylor. Lee learned his trade from Nat Lofthouse at BWFC.
when the scoreline comes up at 1:57 that is coldddd
Look at the state of the pitches , modern players couldn't hack these conditions!
The skill of him is incredible- he’s doing rabonas in the 1960s ffs 😂😂 he would be worth 100m plus in today’s market.
Great player and also a very intelligent diver 😉😁
had a lot of pace for a fat guy.
A sky blue ball of fire.
Shit pitches, dodgy balls still brilliant
RIP Franny. / But look at those pitches!
