Fantastic for a single person or couple.
Excellent use of space.
As I mentioned on your short without actually saying how you made the bed up is incorrect, I think it is! Basically my Romahome Hylo handbook states the pieces of wood you put in place as you have done. HOWEVER, you then slide the cushions from the offside to meet the other ones then lay down the back rests to fill in the gap. Not put the rests in the middle as you have done here.
From my understanding the reasoning for this is if you do it your way, the back rests don’t have enough support and could snap because there are only 3 slats. I’m not saying this will happen, but I thought I’d just mention it😉

I did a 5 week trip around Spain in my van which is almost exactly the same as this earlier this year. I had loads of people ask if they could look around it and wanted to know where they could get one. I also met a few people who had had one and they were all really nostalgic about the fun they had had in theirs. This was a great video for me as I had no idea how the rear seat belt was supposed to be used until I saw this.

Great question Dawn & one unfortunately I cannot answer. I love these vans too & think its a shame we don't see the same type built today. Would be great to see these with all the modern lighting & extras we see on the new vans!
From my understanding much of the reason is down to the problems of conversion as well as licensing etc.
In this particular case there was various company politics involved. However, from a conversion perspective I was under the impression it was due to Citroen introducing ESP on to the Berlingo which would not work with the chassis conversion overhang. In other words there was a finite amount of vans that could be converted!
Gutted- this is perfect for us but we won't have the cash until the sale goes thru on my late parent's house in December.
