New Mayan Ball game Yolk themed jar! And this weeks wrap up.

This video is a combination of a new item addition and weekly wrap up.
The first 2 items i made this past week were the 2 Octopus items.
The last item is the newest, a Mayan ball game yolk themed jar with lid.
This Maya theme is based on a shape taken from a special yolk shaped neck protector worn by Maya who played their famous ball games.
The horseshoe shaped side is the shape of the Mayan yolk neck protector.
Ive added a jar in the center.
This is a tripod jar, which is also typical for Mayan ceramic pieces. (Has 3 legs-feet)
On the front kf the jar on the ends of each protrusion is a human face.
These 2 faces represent the Hero Twins, who are featured prominently in the Popul Vu, which is a Maya collection of stories, folklore, history.
All 3 of these ceramic items are stoneware clay, with grog (tempur). These all will be fired 2 times. First firing is bisque. Then they will all be glazed by hand, by me. Then they will all get fired a second time to a very high temp of 2250 degrees F. which melts & vitrifies the clay and the glazes into ceramic (a form of glass).
