kalimera zameer, it is always wise to take water with you on a hike (especially if there is no drinking water) It is not yet that warm on Crete, but it certainly is in the summer. Greetings from a nice warm Netherlands.

Tower dear Zaneer, pyrgos means tower. So red tower.
Kokinos Pirgos means the red tower. Of course, there is none, but maybe in the past...
