Hi Josh, the Tenet build videos that are now on UA-cam are great as usual, but there are still missing pieces: 1. How to use the new FT motor mounts 2. How to mount the electronics and battery 3. How to build the tail - just build the horizontal and vertical pieces together and glue to the top of a removable tail holder? 4. Where and how to install the servos for rudder and elevator - how to route the control rods My Tenet speed build kit arrived today. I've already done the fuselage, and used colored packing tape as in the "How to Build and Reinforce the Fuselage" video - no problem and it looks fine. I'll do the Sport Wing tomorrow. But I still need advice on the above. It doesn't have to be necessarily in a full-fledged video - even just descriptive text on the Forum would be OK Thanks!
I'm hoping you put out plans/kits for the "anhedral? Gull wing?", that was shown in the FT live cast video. That looked amazing, and the flight characteristics when tossed, were so satisfying.
FT does not release free plans (for new designs) due to people making and selling unauthorized kits from their plans in direct violation of their stated licensing. Some plans will become available to purchase through the FTCA for members. Additionally the Tenet fuselage is cut from solid foam using a CNC wire cutter, not something most people will have available anyway. That being said, if purchasing from FT isn't an option for you, there's no reason you couldn't eye-ball the dimensions and make your own from scratch.
