One of the best trader interviews I’ve watched. Takeaways: find someone who is successful, model their behavior, and adapt their style to yourself. Question truisms and prove/disprove with original research. Do proper daily preparation and build procedural memory to improve execution efficiency. Constantly evaluate which setups are working in the current market environment and do more of them and less of what isn’t working. So much wisdom in these simple and logical thoughts. Thank you Richard and Pradeep for sharing this!
I never saw a trader who is very frank about his/ her system. He is insanely open about his setup and he tries to give all his wisdom freely throughout this episode. Just love it and big thank you.

Incredible interview. Pradeep does not look like a Wall Street trader. Pradeep does not talk like an average successful trader. Yet, its knowledge about trading is really, really outstanding. I already knew his fantastic work through his Twitter account. But this interview is a totally different level. I hope to meet him one day to thank him because he really helped me a lost in the past.

Wow so much simplicity n cool factor, rocking that's what I want to be ,work hard understanding setups, study- if not working innovate, very well said don't just follow blindly, don't need to pay for expencive courses ,talk to traders who are willing,it's not easy to find though .only problem is if someone operates only on TC2000 , if I Don't know TC2000 how to write those scans in TOS or any other platform how do I do, but it's worth trying to talk to pradeep n check out, I will try it out, I liked the way he said ppl in his room trade much much more bigger size than the popular traders ,that's remarkable achievement in it's self, peeling profits was great idea.
Pradeep is a great guy and very knowledgeable. There is a lot of sense in what he is saying and I come back to this interview once in a while. I watched some of his other videos as well and have to congrat you to for the interview. Your questions provided some good structure since Pradeep comes across as a crazy wizard with ideas floating wildy at times :-) Cheers, Ben.
Richard that was a nice video, i really liked it But what is the realistic return one should aim for if following momentum trading, as you yourself also follow this as one of your setups
Pradep said he buys stock last two minutes of the trading day and he doesn't need stop. But what if a stock gaps down the next day, which happens quite regularly. To me personally momentum burst doesn't work, I have been stopped out too many times to count due to the false breakouts
with the 9 million volume, he will buy at any price percentage extension on the day as long as the volume is there? does he put stop at low of day? what about if the 9 m volume doesnt get achived until the end of the day but price is extended past 10% say?
@Richard, great interview. He mentioned two people at the end but couldn't catch their names. I think one was Mark Minervini but who was the other one (Christian something)? I am going to have to try his trading style with 3 shares to get the feel and peel profits 1/3 each time.
@@onetwelvethousand He's amazing one of the most succesful traders last decade average return of 300% per year last 10 years and he's teaching for free😁♥️

Great interview but very confused about his risk management. Did he say he loaded up 150% of his account on FSLY last year? And did he say he puts 65-75% of his account on swing trades? I understand he gets out quickly if things go against him and he peels off on swing trades into strength, but a sudden black swan event could do major damage. The only way that makes any sense to me is if he siphons off trading profits and keeps his trading account a modest-sized so that he always has more to reload if something goes wrong.
When I loaded up FSLY I was already up big for the year. So I risked my profits to make big money. When I put 60% to 75% on swing my stop is not risking 60% . My risk is still less than 2.5% and overnight risk I adjust to 6% . Besides that my size is function of Situational Awareness so I calibrate my risk based on how good or bad conditions are. If you talk to highly profitable traders , they risk big but manage risk by timing entries better and peeling positions. To make big returns size matters.
@@Stockbeevideos Thanks for your explanation. The whole picture makes more sense for a successful trader as it looks you are. You are risking profits, you are limiting risk, you have a high-profile analysis of probabilities based on experience (vast study and execution history). Amazing!
My favorite part of this interview is when Richard asks about risk management. I think he goes pale when he hears 150% of the account into one stock because he knows it will work.
Love the interview, a little hard to understand, Do I have this correct, he has his market smith templates, he watches them for proper entry points, 3 days tight, consolidation etc, then uses tc2000 for possible 9 million share breakout and buys. Is that the gest of it in simple terms?
