if people still used physical currency as frequently as they used to, I'd suggest the push plate go to a piggy bank. as is, it reminds me of vcr player doors, so maybe it could be a good way to insert removable media? another I/O board, perhaps, and the door just rests against whatever you have plugged in to stay open? or maybe it could be some sort of fancy modular external drive system? I know video editing uses a lot of storage, and a lot of videographers have just stacks of hard drives that they swap out when they get full to keep physical backups of all the stuff they made.

-The tech on site to be a water tank for water cooled PCs
-Make it an actual dispenser where if you push the tab it actually gives you candy bar or something
-The ammo belt could be the wires for your monitors
If I had the Time and the 3-D printers I would've totally made this

  • @alkonstrikrow

honestly, i thought the gas tank on the side would allow some easy access to some liquid coolant while also making the gauge show the status of coolant. the small display could show the temp stat of the computer as a whole, and the large screen should show available space, to keep the full meter on display like in game. the ammo holder could have been a handle to slide the main pc out incase of emergency or to allow upgrades to the internal parts.
but besides those ideas, this video was really good. keep it up!

I know the screens are cool but I think analog dials and displays would've been so much cooler imo haha. But this design still has so much potential!
Like, imagine if the air tank was a water tank for the PC's water-cooling system, and the dial above it showed the CPU or GPU temperature, with a little red zone for the temperatures which start damaging them. And I know that you designed it around the main dial being a monitor.. but if you ever end up turning the Dispenser into more of a PC case to accompany a screen, making it show remaining available CPU/GPU/RAM dedication would be so cool!

Push plate is either a drink dispenser, or a place to set controllers or other things like cables.

Awesome build. I kinda expected the air tank to be a reservoir for liquid cooling the computer.

Even though it is old media, i think it would be cool to possibly put a disk drive in the push plate.

pressure gage as cpu/gpu/motherboard temp or speed or powerdraw indicator.
Air tank as tank for coolant fluid for a water-cooled (or similar) cooling setup.

maybe you can put a motion sensor outside the dispenser so when it detects movement it plays the ammo pickup and healing sound, or just like the pop up computer on the top you can make a pop out from the button part just like in tf2

Imagine the push sign being used for a controller being dispensed or a mini keyboard that’d be awesome

I think the push plate would make sense as a port for hot-swapping HDDs. Also it seems like kind of a missed opportunity not to use the air tank as part of a custom water cooling loop.

You should absolutely watercool the computer, sending the water cooling loop through the tank on the side, (remaking the tank out of orange transparent plastic or plexiglass) and using it as a reservoir.
