Thank you for compiling this video of MP36PH locomotives operated by METRA, Andrew! It was great fun watching this video. It appears that the majority of these locomotives spend their time on ex-Milwaukee Road trackage.
@@ATrain4014 Andrew, thank you for mentioning the North Central Service line. I could not think of that METRA line when I wrote the comment but I knew it was not the former Milwaukee Road line through the North Suburbs and on to Fox Lake, Illinois.

1. UP Lines (Union Pacific Lines) Don’t Want To Used Some MP36 Locomotives Because They’re Too Heavy Weight For Few Old Bridges That Can Possibly Destroying Some Weakness Bridge Like UP-N Line From Fullerton To Addison. That’s Why Metra Would Reconsider For UP-N New Bridges That Look Similar From UP-NW Bridges From Webster To Konster. So Yeah, UP Lines Would Never Allowed Some MP36’s or SD70MACH’s Until They’ll Rebuild Some New Bridges Once Is Done, Maybe They’ll Enter Or You’ll Never Know In The Future, Starting This Year or Maybe In 2025 For The UP-N Bridge Construction From Fullerton To Addison. 2. The MP36’s Locomotives From 401-205 Had Entered Service To Run On The BNSF Line Around 2004 or 2005. Until In 2012, BNSF Don’t Want All MP36 To Run On Their Line Anymore, Because Some How They Disliked And Hated Those Locomotives And The Reason Why MP36’s Was Removed On The BNSF Line, Because Likely They’re Way Heavier Weight For Some BNSF Bridges Like From California To Keeler, It Would’ve Have BNSF Bridges And Tracks Be Destroyed And Ruined Because Of Them. So Yeah, They’re Were Discontinued And Removed From Metra BNSF line And Re-Assigned To The Milwaukee District Lines To Replace Some F40PHM’s They Used To Have One Of Those From 209-212 That Are Now On BNSF Line Today. Ron, the location at 8:25 is in Ingelside, Illinois. The Dog n Suds drive in is located at 517 Washington Street, Ingelside, Illinois. Washington Street is also known al Illinois Route 31. Ingelside, Illinois is located east of Fox Lake, Illinois. Theh Dog n Suds drivein was the answer to the location. I Googled Dog n Suds and found three locations in the Chicago area. The only location near a railroad track was the one in Ingelside, Illinois. The sequence with Nickel Plate #765 was possibly somewhere in the ex-Rock Island trackage between Chicago and Joliet when #765 was in the Chicago area for excursions on September 15 and 16, 2018. I could not recognize any of the other locations.

Thank you! We also happen to know a few Metra engineers too!
Nice a Orange one.
Why didn’t the MP36s stay on the BNSF line? Why are they never used on the UP lines?

Nice compilation. I saw one of Metra's MP36's in Chicago 3 years ago. This was before any of the heritage units were created.
Awesome Video

Why do MP36PHs not run on the Union Pacific Northwest line?
The MP36PHs aren’t allowed on the Union Pacific Northwest Line due to their weight over some bridges they would have to cross over.

It looks like a beber.
Do you have a job
I don't trust this guy doing mp36s he barely did Metra rock Island
