- First Pomona Swap Meet of 2024 started off cold and warmed up in time of the crowds to arrive. Hundreds of classic cars, lowriders, muscle cars, Corvettes, Volkswagens, pickup trucks, antique autos, and other vehicles of interest were on display and for sale.

Thanks for covering this car show!! I used to live not too far away in Moreno Valley, some 30 years ago, but moved back to the Boston area in the early 90s. I used to go to these type car shows all the time. I've owned a couple of dozen classic /muscle cars over the years. Don't see as many here where I live. However, I currently own a '69 Buick GS 350 that mostly stays in the garage, especially when it's cold here! Even though you gave us a full 90min of video, it seems like there was still a lot more there to see! But thanks again for the tour! Best wishes from the Boston area!!
It’s impossible to film the whole swap meet. I try to get a good mix of cars while giving priority to the ones that are for sale.

Nice lineup for the first Pomona of the year. The $10K red '68 GTO was my fave. Surprised to see such affordable prices on the 70's Vettes. THX!
The seller of the GTO commented a few days after Pomona that it had sold. Once of the best deals I've seen at Pomona in awhile.

21:37 Tocaloma Boy's & Girl's Club West Los Angeles in the early 1950s used woodys as camp vans. I saw an old photo showing about six with counselors next to cars smiling for an advertisement. A joke from back in those days : "Ask any mechanic what the finest automobile is and they will all give you the same answer -------- Chevrolet. Know why? Because it's their bread and butter" :)

I was I was born and raised so Cal moved to New Mexico 2 years ago. I missed the Pomona swap meet.
Made it halfway through, have to go to work, thanks as always. Looks like a nice day there.
The weather was perfect once it warmed up a bit.

That patina 62 impala with the individual throttle body on the motor was my old car. Sold it back in 2016. Still looks good. 😢

Not going to even attempt to ride that skateboard now. It’s a collector piece now since it’s an Alva board. The car I bought isn’t an Oldsmobile.

The prices on some of the cars you call Pomona pricing I call smoking crack prices...geesh.... the Packard was definitely the most unique
“Pomona pricing” is something I came up for that folks would get what I’m saying.
For the first time in years, I was going. My car said not so fast, not even a mile from home. Full tank, all electric perfect.. except spark.. for those that read this comment if you have HEI distributor and your stops running? There's a 4 pin ignition module you can see when cap is removed. If that fails, engine dies. So before you start changing things and you have gas.. start there.. autozone can test, replacement is 10 buck
I've experienced the bad HEI module. They don't give any warning and just fail. Keeping an extra in the glove box is a good idea.

Wasn’t all that long ago that “no longer made” was a pretty good clue that it was Hudson Nash Edsel or Studebaker but jeez…. Now it could be Mercury Olds, Pontiac or Plymouth. I can’t believe they’re gone too.

Great Pomona car show coverage. For those people out of the area. Im from SoCal, I would never buy or sell a car here. Everything is over priced for foreign buyers, Japan, Europe and Australia. Lots of foreigners walking around with fat money belts packed with hundred dollar bills. So if you're seriously selling, bring your title, you might be walking home.
