  • Mick was a member of the ground breaking Spiders From Mars who with David Bowie made some of the most innovative music the world has seen. He also worked with the likes of Mott the Hoople; Lou Reed, Morrissey, Bob Dylan, and John Mellencamp. Following his untimely death aged 46 in 1993, Ronson's legacy continues to grow and he is regarded as one of the great guitar players and musicians to have come from the UK.

I only found out yesterday he was buried here and should be able to find his resting place with this video, Thanks. I'll visit soon and pay my respects, Was a friendly kind hearted person by all accounts and obviously an amazing guitarist/arranger/producer who certainly left his mark on this world and did Hull very proud.

Blow the music, A great ladish lad, a good companion and the golden key to the launch of Bowie in '71. Above all we laughed and smiled and I was beaten to it!!! Ha! Ha!

Didn't know him personally, but wish I had. His Bowie era was incredible and made my youth survivable.

I was only management and production, not a musician so I can't judge what I automatically identify as superb in terms of musical skill but he was a professional and bore none of the schitzo pretences that David suffered all his life ! To me; Mick, and James Osterberg were each worth more than an hundred of the other. Mick was worth having known.@@BLzBob.7268
