5:40 As someone who has lost not just their own house but their entire town from a tornado, it's pretty terrifying knowing you are about to lose your house lol
Through the amount of tornadoes I’ve been through my entire life (I used to be deathly scared of them but thankfully I’m less fearful and more wanting to watch but still get to shelter lol), the one that happened recently in march or June I think, was one that was going to go right over the town my mom and little brother were in and the house the three of us were staying.
Thankfully my mom was safe at work and my little brother had brought himself and our dogs (we have three tiny chihuahuas) to a friends house that had safety. I was at my best friends grad party and it barely missed that town.
Thankfully nothing happened to our towns (especially since we live in little paper cutter town houses), however, sadly, in a town or few over, it hit really hard and almost wiped it out. There was a fund raised in multiple places to help the town (that I know of), and I think they’re being able to rebuild!
Especially if u don’t have insurance
This game has potential, the Dev needs to push more into this.
Edit: After 5 minutes of research, I found the Devs are AWOL and disconnected themselves from this game entirely. Someone please buy the rights from them so this game can get more love

There's nothing to buy the rights to, lol. It'd be easier to make a similar game from scratch than to try to buy anything off of people who fell off the face of the Earth.
It's not like there's anything copyright about the concept of storm chasing, and someone who knows what they're doing could probably remake it.
Someone has apparently made a similar "game" in Roblox called Twisted. Saw someone playing it earlier today. Looked neat, but definitely needed some lightning 🌩 ⚡️

As someone in Missouri I can confirm this is true and that I have done it
As a Missourian I can attest to standing in my driveway watching a tornado form and being amazed at how beautiful the sky was just before hand.

Ironically enough, I do actually storm chase IRL. It's a passion thing, you don't see weather like that anywhere else, and it's such an incredible experience (as long as you are safe about it and not doing stupid things).

You ever chased or just have it prepared for situations like that?
@@RadsZerich Some, but mostly fires, I live out in the western US so it's mostly chasing crazy thunderstorms out in the desert, fires in the Sierra's (was in the thick of both the Carr and Camp Fires, specifically got a lot of pics of the firenado and helped with evacs, as well as other notables way back like the Motion Fire) and then plenty of 4x4ing and just cruising around town. It's a stupid fun truck to drive and gets tons of looks.
Hooked up with some chasers based out of Kansas City while visiting some family a few years back and got to be support for their Unimog that they built. My truck weighs in a little over 3 tons after all the modifications, so it isn't really able to chase anything too big, but it certainly holds it's own and has been a ton of fun to both build and use.

I've always wondered why do people fear tornadoes in situations, where a tornado won't destroy something of yours? Isn't it pretty easy to keep your distance from it? It can't like sneak up on you or anything, and considering your house isn't here it can't destroy something of yours, what's scary about that? I'd say it only looks fascinating then
Majority of tornadoes are rain wrapped and completely invisible that’s what makes them scary, went chasing for the first time this year and chased 5 in 2 days and all of them couldn’t be seen because of rain
