Thanks for the video. The kids are so lucky, but you know kids they never understand how much it cost. That room for 2 adults is expensive. The plus is the extra bathroom space and the pull down beds. Perfect for family of 4 to 5 people. Thinking of taking a suite on the Wonder in 2020.
Having never been on any cruise let alone a Disney one I wanted to see what the boarding experience would be like and yours was the first video I found. Imagine my shock when your family was greeted considering we share the same last name. Put a smile on my face just before I left for work today, so thanks for posting.
The room looked amazing! But for a little bit of info, on the Disney Dream, the huge bathroom has a TV in the mirror and a bathtub with a Jacuzzi! Hope this helps :)
I can't believe you didn't have a personal escort to the Concierge Lounge as soon as you boarded. We've always been greeted as we board and then taken directly to the Lounge.
This is so cool! I've been on 1 Disney Cruise(9 day Italy/Greece/Turkey), and I'm trying to convince my family to go on another. Btw you have a model face, and I am jealous.
oh yeah oh yeah!! awesome video. Just finished our 2nd disney cruise both on the magic. Once a balcony, the other a oceanview. Nothing like this however. Thanks for posting, and showing a view of the ultimate in cruising. Happy cruising.
Next cruise that I am going on is the 7 day on the fanasty, but in June I went on the dream and we room 8582 since we have 4 people it was perfect for less money because the bigger rooms are more haha
Hi there...Great video...thanks for sharing. I am just curious if you thought the extra expense for the concierge level was worth the money? I don't mind springing for something like this if it includes a decent experience, but I found that when we stayed in a concierge room at Grand Floridian, we were not around our room enough to really enjoy the extras....maybe that would be different on a cruise vs Disney World trip?? Does it include complimentary "adult" beverages in the concierge lounge in addition to the food spread they have out? Thanks!
Sorry - delayed response. For us at the time, I felt it was so worth the extra money. But that cruise was booked a couple years ago and concierge costs have gone up considerably. Now that we've done it, it would be extremely hard to do a family cruise without concierge and the space of a 1BR. I would like to plan to do one again so always keeping my eyes open for a good price. And yes - there were a couple of receptions every evening with complimentary cocktails (top shelf liquor, beer and wine) in the lounge. The first day they had drinks available when we boarded and there were several other days and time where we got to enjoy complimentary adult beverages. We hardly spent any money on alcohol during our week.
I wish you had used a regular camera. I also took my GoPro on my Disney cruise, but it doesn’t work well in this setting. It was way too distorted to enjoy this fully.
Sorry for the late reply. Better late then never! The lounge wasn't huge but honestly the only time I think it was full was the first day while embarking. Other then that there were always tables available and usually not very busy.
hey mike, im 18 and always been a disney and disney world lover. i have an older brother and my parents. ive never been on a cruise before but my mom has but never disney. we want to go on the disney fantasy but we're worried that there wont be anything much for us since we dont have little ones so the question is: would the disney fantasy work for a group of 4 adults who are disney lover? thanks.
Steven, as a fellow lover of disney I think there's a lot to offer all age groups. This was our first disney cruise but loved it so much I want to take my wife back without the kids! I heard there's an 18-21 club you can get involved with and different adult activities for all to enjoy. I definitely recommend checking out disboards.com and do some research on the forums. At the least the service, food and entertainment was great. I think if you don't have a good time you don't want to. Good luck!
Going on this exact cruise for the third time in November, but it will be the first time as concierge. I'm so giddy and am counting down the days!!

loved the video. Concierge lounge looks great and the suite looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
Wow that room is insanely awesome! We did a regular inside stateroom and this puts ours to shame. May need to consider one of these sometime!

Mike Campbell thankyou mike for replying and you helped alot. im getting very excited to go. it means alot.
+steven matheson It's fantastic! The only age that is bad for Disney Cruises is 17.
there is whole lot for adults to do don't worry
Oh
Dang.....I can’t watch.....your making me sea sick with the camera movement!
I would be embarrassed by the greeting and the clapping. Is that a Disney thing? Because than I would avoid anything Disney.
You can decline to announcement.
NeoDerGrosse Don’t be so shy... It’s all in fun..
