For instance, he might have roast beef, alfalfa sprouts, and horseradish sauce on a sourdough roll eaten over the sink and washed down with a cold Heineken. Then the next day a different sandwich and so on. It was a nice touch.

If feeling posh I make a roasted sweet potato and cashew spread. Makes all fancy then. But my ultimate happy comfort is a vegemite and iceberg lettuce sandwich. Eclectic Aussie.

My fave sandwich is a fresh ciabatta roll halved, spread with vegan basil nut pesto then layered with roasted pepper, aubergine, sundried tomatoes and a fistful of fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt and cracked pepper. Divine!

There is a gourmet sandwich shop here that makes a "San Diego" chicken sandwich, & I used to live in SD so that's a given. It has amazing homemade bread, avocado, bacon & a cilantro honey mayo. They gave me the secret recipe for the mayo just in case I get creative. It's to die for. 😍

My favourite sandwich combo is.. mixed grain sourdough bread.. peanut butter on both slices and then filled to the brim with shredded lettuce,grated carrot,tomato,beetroot and a slice of cheese... it’s like a satay salad sandwich.. so yummy 😋

My favorite sandwich = 1/2 of an English Muffin with these layers (bottom layer first) - sliced avocado, red onion, mushrooms, favorite cheese. Bake for a few minutes. The avocado gets all melty like a rich mayo, and the cheese melts over everything. So yummy! I suppose you could add or subtract anything, but the avocado is the key. Cheers!

It was a book I had some years..which for the most part wasn't offering evidence to support astrology until the last chapter where, out of the blue, he offered this information to support links between certain signs & occupations, with comments that there would probably need to be more research. I can't find the book, I may have chucked it by now & currently scratching for the author's name which was familiar....I can see the book on the shelf now, just can't get close enough to read what it says....!

In the process of looking for the original source, I found Llyall Watson’s book Supernature 1971, ( he was one of my early sources of I inspiration when I moved into Seeker mode) where he quotes research from an earlier source still, on quantum mechanics & wave particles where “ birth times of 2,593 clergymen corresponded to the 7th harmonic and 7,302 doctors fitted into the 5th harmonic” He said “ ..that gives the old astrology & the new science a place to meet on common ground. The first half of the book discusses the role of beliefs and expectations and the importance of loving yourself. She includes stories which demonstrate the point, positive affirmations, and really beautiful illustrations. The second half of the book lists possible emotional causes of a variety of aliments. It's a great reference book to have on hand.

I can't find the book, I may have chucked it by now & currently scratching for the author's name which was familiar....I can see the book on the shelf now, just can't get close enough to read what it says....!
Unable to find the missing book.
In the process of looking for the original source, I found Llyall Watson’s book Supernature 1971, ( he was one of my early sources of I inspiration when I moved into Seeker mode) where he quotes research from an earlier source still, on quantum mechanics & wave particles where “ birth times of 2,593 clergymen corresponded to the 7th harmonic and 7,302 doctors fitted into the 5th harmonic” He said “ ..that gives the old astrology & the new science a place to meet on common ground. It demonstrates quite clearly that astrological data are amenable to a statistical approach......they yield results in direct accordance with our knowledge if the basic laws of matter......There are some mystical things about astrology, but there is nothing supernatural about the way it works. Man is affected by his environment according to clearly defined physical forces & his life becomes organised by natural & universal laws. To believe otherwise is tantamount to assuming that the Encyclopaedia Britannica was thrown together by an explosion in a printing works”

Also, not to stretch things a bit too far - but with Venus just having gone retro - kicking her door on the way out -- I wanted to try a new perfume (venus -- all things lovely) and bought something new. A few hours after spraying my allergic reaction had me covered in hives looking more like a child with the measles than a lovely aromatic and attractive grown woman. I had to get on uber steroids and other anti allergy meds and my throat was nearly closed off to not breathing. dunno..dunno..wtf that was all about....LOL

Sometimes (though not always) I've found that something going on with us on a mental or emotional level can manifest as a physical symptom. Check out Louis Hay's book titled You Can Heal You Life. The first half of the book discusses the role of beliefs and expectations and the importance of loving yourself. She includes stories which demonstrate the point, positive affirmations, and really beautiful illustrations. The second half of the book lists possible emotional causes of a variety of aliments. It's a great reference book to have on hand.
