Making St. Brigid's crosses in Dinny's, Co. Donegal.

Every year on St. Brigid's Day the locals gather together to make St. Brigid's crosses. This old tradition was once common in every home but like so many of the old ways it's slowly fading away. The Glen Tavern (Dinny's) is famous throughout Ireland and beyond for keeping such traditions alive, for its hospitality, and in particular the folk music, attracting fiddle players and other musicians from far and wide.
