In this video, I share my thrilling bus journey from Delhi to Manali on May 25, 2024. We saw many amazing places and had some unique experiences. Here are some highlights and issues we faced:
Highlights:
From Delhi to Majnu ka Tila: I took the metro and auto from my home to Gurudwara Majnu ka Tila, where our bus to Himachal departed. All Himachal buses from Delhi leave from Majnu ka Tila, and you can reach here by taking the metro to Vishwavidyalaya and then a taxi for 20 INR.
Dinner Stop: At 10:30 PM, our bus took a 30-minute stop for dinner.
Reaching Manali in the Morning: We found ourselves at the Manali bus stop in the cold morning weather. It’s advisable to wear light warm clothes in the morning and evening as it can get quite cold, but the afternoons can be hot.
Traffic Jam and Walking: Due to a traffic jam in Manali, I walked 6 km to my hotel. Manali gets crowded during holidays, so be prepared for traffic jams.
Hotel Check-in: After checking in at the hotel, I showed a small view of it. I’ll share the hotel link at the end; it was at a wonderful location.
Exploring Local Manali: We visited Nature Park, Hadimba Devi Temple, and tasted local street food.
Rabbit Photoshoot and Mall Road: I had a photoshoot with a rabbit and explored Mall Road.
Issues and Solutions:
Room Availability: Due to a change in plans for other girls in the group, there was no room available for me. The booking was with Kaizan Adventures, and they assured me that a room would be available by morning. However, at night, they asked me to adjust with other group members, which was quite inconvenient. Despite paying 30k for the trip, I had to adjust.
Solution: I adjusted with the group members as there was no other option.
