8:59 is a pet peeve of mine with Baradul. You can clearly see two light mechs have the position and when you push into the back of them without calling out for them to move forward all you are likely to do is block them from backing up and they could get one shot as a result. You get frustrated when people block you so please don't deliberately do it to others Bara :D This time it worked out but it's something I see you do a lot. If mechs have a position already either ask them to move over comms or find another position. Anyone looking to learn lrm play in a productive way this video is a very good example. Mobile, using the correct firing pattern when in range and using height advantage only until it is time to get into the fight. Nice damage in both games Bara. And a shoutout to the Vulcan/veagle players in both games who played well in the first drop and exceptional in the second drop ;D Thank you for the videos Bara :D
One could argue that stopping for peaking on a choke point in the middle of the push is not a good idea either. That said, he probably could have said "don't stop here spider" in the coms to make sure that the other player knows that the team is behind him/her. But then, its easy to critize something afterwards and a bit more challenging in the middle of the fight.
@@diomedes7971 Eh I think that's a problem with a lot of games--only instead of hanging back it's breaking out the nascar. The only maps that I really don't see with that problem are Solaris City and *ironically* Terra Therma.

Tonnage advantage between equal skill levels usually means tonnage wins. All this shows is the enemy weren't up to snuff skill-wise. Check out Jarl's list and see what ranking all 12 had and it may tell another story.
@@gfarrell80 Not just skill, but also communication, team cohesion, positioning, mobility, boldness, timing, and luck all play a role here. Especially boldness. In my experience the more timid team basically always looses.

I originally picked up the Ebon Jags because they were as close to a Marauder I could get, at the time. Now, they're still fun mechs, but I just don't play them as much! Looking forward to getting back into them. Thanks Bara!
Hey Bara, wollt mich dafür was du machst bedanken. Macht echt Spaß, und bringt mich immer wieder nach mwo zurück, auch wenn ich super schlecht bin. Pass auf dich und mach dir keinen Stress. o7 philatrocius
When I had tag and lasers*, I'd always add the tag into the lasers fire group, and into the missiles group. That way you can do what Bara's describing at 5:05 without having to hold down a third button throughout. Downside is, for long missile flights, your weapons may fire again when you don't want them to, so you still want to have a tag-only group. * Worked well with gauss too. Of course using Fire Control to set a tag toggle is the best 👍
Thanks for the daily's Baradul! Really starting to enjoy this game more and more. I think watching your vids has helped a lot. What do you think about this build? THR-5SS with: 2 x Lrg Laser 5 x Med Laser 14 single HS Std 260 Endo Steel Would ER lasers or Pulse lasers be better? Cheers!
Try to go for Double Heat Sinks. Most of the times it's much better. Also a light or xl engine would be recommend. Try this: light 300 engine left torso - 3 Large laser right torso + right arm - 4 medium/er medium laser Targeting Computer Mk2 17 DHS
Baradul, subscriptions and notifications help for people who want to follow you. What you want as a content creator are likes and dislikes, because those count the same to the algorithm, along with comments. That's how your videos will get more exposure overall. Which long run means more subscribers, ad revenue, and better analytics. in short, don't push subs, push ratings and commenting. Also watch time is a huge factor, so put something cool at the end of each video that people won't want to miss. I might not be a content creator myself, yet... So I look at the channels that study this stuff. So I hope this helps you out.
So that's why so many channels put the clip of the sexy lady at the very end! For the daily dose videos I wait for the scoreboard after each match. There's no reason to exit these videos early as they are enjoyable to the end. I only skip the skill builds as I don't play MWO.
Here's another multi range build I like: ERPPC and gauss rifle in torsos. 4 er mediums or hvy mediums. 2 Streak 4's for lights. Use the torso with three energy hardpoints and do laser-ppc-laser so gauss and ppc are on top.
Not knowing mechwarrior , ebon jag was the mech I played mwo cause it looked cool. Tho the bunny ear lrms weren’t doing me favors for hit box the shoulder Lrm position was cool to clear over hills/behind walls
I'm quite new to your channel but I'm liking what I see. Have you ever played Crossout? It's quite similar to this in some respects. Take a look if you haven't, I think you may like it.

When I use lrms it's solaris city and the enemy team has 3 corsairs and a kitfox. When the enemy has lrms it's polar highlands and I have a srm build.
RACs are the way to go
God I know that feeling.

Imma just point this out Rom, you're popping up almost as much as the old 'today on cooking with baradul' guy. I like this.
Love the MWO model for the Cauldron Born. They did a good job bringing the mechs to life.
Oh definitely. One of the best things about MWO is just how nice the mechs look. Really hope to see a Sunder in MWO someday.

I used to love the Cauldron Born in Mechwarrior 4. Such a cool looking mech, even if my Inner Sphere self does say so
And Cauldronborn is the best name you of the Inner Sphere have ever applied to our Clan equipment :)
Love these vids! Been getting into mwo recently and I love watching these to give me ideas for mech builds. Keep it up my man!
Bäm! Just wanted to go to bed... nah, not yet.
Is it even a Corsair if it doesn't have -all- the AMS?

16 minute watch time is ok. If you are not asking for subscribes the algorithm kind of punishes people, so all three needs to be there.
Yes! Ebon Jag is my favorite mech!

You should make a video with a maxed out targeting computer !!!
I use them quite often.......
A challenge build you should try is a flamer only build mech and other options your choice
What a support build!
Not knowing mechwarrior , ebon jag was the mech I played mwo cause it looked cool.
Tho the bunny ear lrms weren’t doing me favors for hit box the shoulder Lrm position was cool to clear over hills/behind walls
Are there any benefits to the jag over a Timberwolf or mad dog?
I do somthing like this with5 med pulses and x2 atm 12. Pretty fun if in group for it also with a tag
@Baradul You can u make a similar build with the Archer Hero. It has ECM and i run it very successfull.
"that just sounds like a Catapult with extra steps/lasers"
Those lrm 15s always trick me thinking bara is going for those meaty atm builds.
build looks hot but very satisfying
Basically a fancier clan catapult build!
Love them the Ebon Jaguar one of the better omni's
you can do basically the same build with a timberwolf with LRM 20s and 4 medium lasers! and you dont need an XL engine. you just give up the TAG
You played it well!
This is pretty much how I play my Archer. Works best with the tempest.
Great Video! Thank You!

why don't u autocast the tag with numlock?
@Baradul do you still manage your patreon?
Nice warhorn
love builds like this
No dead-side, 2+ weapon class builds please me greatly... 😌
scx kills himself in another game against you lol he was in both games and he killed himself in both
Midrange EBJ... Without dual UAC10s.... Okay Baradul, you might have officially lost your mind.
