Great and simple product, will be putting 1 in my boat, as a precaution I attach the drain plug to the boat keys so that every time I take the boat out the plug is in my face right there on the keys
Smart! Thanks for the comment!
How about being a little more thorough with your checklist prior to launching your boat for the season! I am 46 years old and I have been a boat owner for 32 years, I can tell you with confidence I have never been unprepared at the boatramp when launching my boat for the Summer Season! But I spent countless days with my grandfather watching all the mistakes people make when launching their boat!
Could not agree more I've grown up in boats my whole life and I prepare my boat before I even leave home for the boat ramp so when I get to the ramp I just launch an get to fishing so I'll start my motor at home on the earmuffs I'll load all my gear put my plugs in literally check everything trailer included then I'll hook up and go as I hate people who hold up the boat ramp or those guys who start loading all there gear in there boat while there on the ramp so I like to make sure I'm not that guy and the amount of people who no nothing and make the worst mistakes is unbelievable the weekends and public holidays are the worst that's when all the bone headed boaters are out in force
I attach a drain plug by the front winch on the trailer as a reminder to check the drain plug !! Never failed me !
Thanks for the comment!
It would be helpful if you where to mention what type of sealant you recommend to use around the back of the plug when installing it. I have already purchased both of the chrome and the black one, but there is no instructions mentioning the recommended sealant in either of the product packaging either.
For product suggestions etc. please contact the manufacturer at boatwize.com/contact-us/. Thanks!
@Hello Ray Ver Hey, How are you doing?
Can you buy 1 that made in S/S or Bronze ? They hold up in salt water .
should put the link in description
Can you get replacement parts ???
You should put your boat plug in the boat before you go in the water because I think if the plug is not in the boat will fill up with water.
Yes but plug gets pulled when you launch from the ramp and stays out till you re launch in case rain and drainage like when washing
Will you take the drain Tube off to install it
I just did the video. To answer your question I refer you to the inventor:

Do you have a retailer in Norway that sells this product?

Block drain winterpluga
You should keep the plug in the bottom of your boat by the drain
The title, the package and the bumper sticker all say "wiSe". But its a Z ?
Will it drain water out of your boat, when the boat is in the water?
No. The valve is shut automatically when the boat is in the water. I think a bilge pump is the only way to do that.
Only if plug is out and you get on a plain and cause venturi
I saw water. Who else?
Why do boats need these plugs
This plug system has a one-way valve that will let water out when the boat is out of the water but if you forget to put the plug in the boat and put the boat in the water this system will not let the lake water into the boat. Perfect people who always remember to put the plugs in the boat don't need this. But then we're all perfect until we're not. Here is a UA-cam video that shows a very experienced person who forgot to put the plug in the boat. ua-cam.com/video/3PVtYfipIKs/v-deo.html
The product manager is looking like he would rather be any place other than sitting through this silly informercial. Pretty hokey presentation.
There sure are some dumb comments on here!
blah blah blah blah
