I’m a Diehard Canes fan but we gotta tweak that run game if we wanna go undefeated this year. We won’t beat Clemson in the Acc Championship game if we don’t.
They just have to commit to it. In every game they have very little rush yards in the first half because they don't emphasize it but in the 2nd half they commit to it and have success. Dawson needs to take pressure off of Cam with the run game
Let’s see this team respond. The west coast trip is going to be tough, but if they go in prepared and with the right mindset, they take care of business. This team needs the bye week to heal, regroup, and find more serviceable depth.
They need to commit to the run more. Every time they do they move the ball effectively and it take pressure off of Cam. Need to diversify the play calling if this team is gonna make the CFP and win the ACC
All you people, calm the hell down. Yes, we do need to run the ball more, offensive line needs to be better, running and passing. But clearly the strength of this offense is Cam Ward and the passing game. Without the passing game, we would be 0-5 instead of 5-0.
Ok, let’s hear “ the Orange Bowl March”, played it many times myself/ in the original Orange Bowl with the Band of the hour.0ne of my best friends ( a trumpet player, married a ( bell) player, they now have children and grandchildren together and “ order of the arrow winner”, I miss all of them a lot. Cam needs to tighten it up. He's a bit too reckless with the ball at times. Sometimes taking the yardage loss if perfectly fine...rather than turning the ball over deep in out own territory.
Wilcox also gave the pirate air raid offense hell.. gonna be interesting to see how Dawson fares as they are coming off bye week and I am sure they will have coverages cooked up
Our Offensive coordinator seems to just want to ride Cams arm to a seat to New York as a Heisman guess and a head cosching position! How lazy can you be to waste the talents of your running backs. MARTINEZ should have had at least 3 100 yard games by now! If we continue this our talented young backs will tranfer out.
Apples and oranges. Game is a lot different today than even when Dorsey was playing. Also, Cam Ward is what? Fifth year senior? Dorsey started 3 games as a Freshman. Then, started as a sophomore. So, not a fair comparison. 😒
Not to mention Dorsey didn't have to do as much being surrounded by studs. The overall makeup of this year's team is no match for the talent level Dorsey played with.
On the Riley Williams play all 3 guys got whooped on the right side including I believe our 5 star tackle. Watching that makes me not feel good as a fan. If they don't get that fixed, this team will not win the ACC.
Next years secondary of OJ/Damari on the outside. Dylan day at nickel and Zaquon at safety will be very good

You're not wrong but I'd pump the brakes on Clemson. The only good team they played annihilated them. I won't pencil them into the ACC title game.

His running style doesn't fit what the OC likes to do. But if Martinez gets to 2nd level he's dangerous and tough to bring down.

The Oline got flat out whooped vs VT. Alex Mirabal better coach them up.
Feel like it’s conditioning them guys was wheezing. First time playing all four quarters this season
