Its such a treat to hear some nice production of John Rutter material. Haven't heard this since I sang it in high school. We weren't nearly this good, of course! Thanks again!
@DandelionFairy Its called a ruff, and having sung in a choir since I was about 7 I had to wear one for a few years and I can safely say they are one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn.
Rutter has a gift for writing beautifully for this setup. St Pauls choir ought to be jolly good..im not kean on the way the recording is made though they have the microphones too close...result sound is a little dry and it makes it sound less legato than I suspect their director hoped..(taking into consideration the ressonace of the acoustic)
Grazie Piergiorgio!!!!
cantano i piccoli angeli!!!
WONDERFUL!!!!!

My choir sang this (with girls not falsetto boys singing Soprano and Alto) and I must say I love it ever since I first sung it. Great version.
Esta música é simplismente linda e causa emoções fortíssimas que nos leva até Deus.

St. Paul's Cathedral in London is Anglican. This was sung during the National Thanksgiving Service for The Queen Mother's 100th Birthday in 2000.

@dylki Soprano and Alto are the natural range for boys. It would be a falsetto if they were men.
