Hello! How far does this project? Can you tell me the dimensions of each part? I don't see a template. I'd like to make this for a star background for my angels in the Christmas play at church. I just want to make a nice, starry sky. Thank you!

I have moved the template and tutorial to here: www.stormthecastle.com/telescopes/constellation-projector.htm But, I am thinking that for a play this project might not be strong enough. Might want to look on amazon for something called Christmas light projector, or star projector. Can usually get something suitable for about 25. Good luck with the play!!
I was anxiously waiting for this vid since the cups video... Only thing I would change would be to try to make something like a more permanent "joint" for the sides to fit into the bottom so that the weight of the unit isn't strictly on the glue. Might make it just a bit more durable? If I do something a little more custom, and it works well enough, I'll let you know when I send you pics of our build. Also, what sort of distance are you keeping the projector from the wall or whatever surface you're projecting onto?
