Hey! Don't know if you're still interested to know, but I use to wear this daily for work!
The formula is matte, but not drying. Probably the most comfortable matte lipstick I've ever worn.
It's not super long lasting though, you will need to reapply maybe 2-3 times over a long period, especially with food. However! It does fade evenly and nicely, doesn't flake and is super easy/looks good when reapplying.
Other liquid mattes I've tried flaked, crumbled or developed a weird, obvious texture when reapplying or touching up. Just not a good look! Lol!
Plus they were drying and uncomfortable to wear, if they were long lasting
