    Thanks for your informative video
I am living in Tehran Iran and don't have volcanic cinder.
What is the best soil mixture and soil ingrediance I can use.
I bought 3 separate ones in 3 different sizes today and asked the seller to place them all in one pot next Friday (in about 8 days) when I am going to be present there when he is reporting them.
He says only leaf compost and some vermi compost and some garden soil will be enough. I asked him to add some orchids bark to the soil but he doesn't recommend it.
So. Since I am a palm lover I appreciate if you recommend the best soil mix before next Friday so I can ask him to use the one recommend with my own responsibility.
I also want to leave the repotted Kentias in his green house so they will overcome the reporting shock.
I already appreciate your help and guidance 🙏🙏

Being in Florida, If I were repotting, I would go with Miracle Grow.

    Can they grow in semi-hydroponics?

Sorry. I don't know, but both our Kentia are offered in traditional soil media and volcanic cinder.

    Expensive palm but beautiful.

Yes. It's a slow grower and takes more time to get to marketable size. It is my favorite plant though.

      @@4plantz Hi,
Well I heard from a garden center employee that milipedes benefit rhe palm because they will kill other bugs that plague this tree like spider mites etc they don't harm the tree. I didn't want to kill the millipedes worth.
Then another issue arose, the water that drained out of plant when i watered it smelled like rotten eggs. I read it could be root rot. So I transplanted tree and found no rot but the soil was wet so I replaced it with new soil and water less. The watering is tricky because here in Vancouver daylight is about 8 hrs and mostly cloudy so I waterless.

czechking leave a shine on the leave because of the wax in the soap, also most of the time in those “grandma” cleaning receipts the add alcohol to keep the bush away.
