The intro is a mix of three shows. The visuals are Happy Endings, the music is The Office and the title card is Modern Family
they all follow that format of camera zooms and a handheld style along with the interviews. I also got What we do in the shadows vibes as well
I knew it had to be a mix of The Office and Modern Family, but I wasn't sure.
Not just the intro though, most of this episode too.

Well, in Agatha's basement there's a talisman-like object with the Leviathan Cross, a symbol used to represent the Devil. Mephisto is Marvel's version of the Devil so...
Another theory is that Quicksilver is Mephisto in disguise but if that’s true I will be sad because it means it’s not actually the Fox X-Men Quicksilver

Still, I know for a fact that was the Leviathan Cross in Agatha's basement so she must be worshipping or working for Mephisto. Either way, Mephisto is kinda behind everything since Agatha is doing this all for him.
Maybe she's controlling this all, to try and get Wanda to help her bring Mephisto into WestView? I'm not too sure.
I was wondering if the book on the stand in the basement might be The Darkhold, which would mean that the Elder God Chthon might be the ultimate bad guy instead of Mephisto.
I think Agatha is controlling a Pietro/Peter. Mephisto is depicted as a fly in the comics so that coulda been him. I don't think that soldier is the aerospace engineer.

Man your reaction to Agatha’s reveal was probably the best I’ve seen. Looks like someone who genuinely hasn’t been keeping up with all the theories and hard speculations and just went in clean wanting to be surprised. In one way or another, I envy you for that lol
just to let everyone know, that military friend of Monica’s WASN’T the aerospace engineer, Monica referred to them as a HE in episode 6 so we’re still waiting to see who it is

Monica can see the full "Spectrum"
There actually Was a Post-credits this time......welp, this is Vision and the Scarlet Witch all over again. Also, Wanda is a living Magical Nexus, like the Sanctuaries Dr. Strange protects. That is what the commercial is referencing. Agatha is equal parts her mentor and her foil. She was also Billy and Tommy's Babysitter in the comics and was the one who revealed that the kids kept returning to Mephistos soul when Wanda used her full powers. House of M was a failed attempt to make the kids permanent.
The commercial could also be referencing the Nexus of All Realities.
@@senhowler It is possible. However all of the other commercials are tied to Wanda personally.....except.....last week was a hint about either Agnes or Dotty.
I remember when elisabeth olson in an interview said she would like to do a house of M type story for wanda, then she said there is no way disney will do that.

Agatha is kind of like Loki. She's not a hero but she isn't a villain neither. I don't know if they're gonna do it but in the comics Agatha is Wanda's mentor.
Well, she is lowkey helping Wanda expand her powers. In a way, she is tapping into her max potential imo.
She also helped Mephisto, so he's pretty much all been confirmed at this point.
@@watertommyz I think she needs either the twins or Wanda's magic to unleash him off that magic book, Darkhold maybe? Maybe we won't see him in this show but at least the season will end with him showing up into the MCU like in a post-credits scene. Now we have to wait one more week... :(

why would she control Ralph, nah, she brought him in to distract Wanda, but as said in Doctor Strange, magic comes from the multiverse, she couldn't bring in the actual Pietro, he is a rotten corpse, so she brought one up from another universe who is totally under her control, Ralph is probably the bunny or the one she is trying to bring to the MCU reality using the kids.

I lost my mom and 2 of my brothers. Her apathy was hard to watch. That's when you don't care about what happens or even yourself.
Weirdly, I think the same this is happening with Monica. She's very reckless and keeps doing things that makes it seem like she has a death wish or something. It's a different form of apathy, because I understand both perfectly.
This is gonna be a heartbreaking ending. No doubt.
The writers pretty obviously want us to agree more with Monica's choices, though, since she's at least admitting her grief exists
@@JBWinter Wanda’s been through much more over the last few years her mind has hit the brick wall more times than Monica’s ever had. Seems like that doesn’t make her more resilient towards grief but instead tears her psyche even more

The commercial this time was probably a huge hint. 'Nexus' is probably a nod to the Nexus of All Realities, a meeting point of all dimensions basically. If the Nexus is in play somehow, Agatha probably grabbed the Fox Quicksilver herself.
Kathryn Hahn has held the title of sexiest dame on this show since episode 1. Now that she's been revealed as the central antagonist, HOT DIGGITY DAYUM WITCH TOO FOINE.

Agatha Harkness was the person who taught Wanda to control her powers in the comics. She was also a sometimes-baby-sitter for Franklin Richards when the Fantastic 4 were off doing their thing.
She's basically a very old (10,000 years+) witch. She has some ties to C'thon - the being whose existence fuels Wanda's powers.

Ive seen people theorize that the reason Dr Strange is “unavailable” is because he went to go help Wanda but in doing so, Agatha found him first and he is the rabbit that Agatha is holding and is around all the time

The second the frame changed i got chills, cause we all knew some badass reveal was going down
My first thought on seeing the basement was: Oh shit, it's like the retro version of Dr. Strange's Sanctum, that hallway probably leads to some creepy jungle ruins!
Though i was expecting there to be other paths, and Wanda was just gonna get lost wandering around in there....

Small fact time: In Agatha's basement, on one of the desks/tables (it's the bit after Wanda sees the goat head and cabinet of skulls), there's some sort of talisman with the Leviathan Cross. The Leviathan Cross is one of the symbols used to represent the Devil. Mephisto is basically the Marvel Devil (even though he says he isn't) so that proves Agatha is working for/worshipping Mephisto even more. Little details like that are why I love the MCU.
I thought it was fairly obvious Agatha was the mastermind considering she was literally the character who would "bring Wanda anything she needed" jjst to keep her going, so it wanst that shocking. But I agree that I did love when Wanda would show her villainous side to make you go "oh damn, she does really want this"
Agatha is a witch, from the Salem era. She has in the comics been an ally and enemy to Wanda. She taught Wanda how to use her hex magic

Nexus is huge because in the comics the Nexus is the crossroads between multiverses and it also refers to people who can access other realities. Also the book is supposedly the Darkhold which is a book used to cast evil spells and paths to dark magic.

The rabbit is Agatha’s familiar. A familiar is some type of animal that has a part of (soul I guess) the witch within in it. If the witch dies but the familiar lives, the witch can be brought back to life by someone with the power using the familiar.

Yes but if you rewatch that scene Wanda turnt her head left to look at something else that had spoke. As you wrote Agnes was behind the cameras so whatever wanda turnt to look at wasnt agnes but something that was off to the side of Agnes.

It took me a couple episodes to really get this show.
Everybody wanted another Avenger to appear. Well, here she is. Spectrum/Photon. Next week we'll find out if Quicksilver can outrun a Photon. lol
The MCU has established that Maria Rambeu is photon,. Judging by the fact she can see things that others can't I would say Monica is "Spectrum"

I think that this more than anything lends credence to this Quicksilver being the Fox one. She was obviously manipulating him, which I think goes against the idea of him being some other entity.

What Monica means by "she has to be our solution" is that they need Wanda to put things back the way they were. Now that we know things are permanently changed and not just an illusion, that's even more true: if Wanda suddenly died, what would happen to everyone? We have no reason to believe their true personalities would automatically revert back, any more than Geraldine's fish pants.

Given the context of Episodes 4-7, I CHALLENGE people to rewatch 1-3 because they are so much creepier now.

If they don't end up having him be the Fox X-men version pulled through the multi-verse, I wonder if Pietro is going to end up being the person in Witness Protection that got the FBI involved, something in the line deliveries last episode and this one give off a bit of a mobster vibe, IMO.

I personally don't think they are going to reveal any of the Fantastic 4 in this show. And I don't think it would be a good decision either. I mean, would it really be a good decision to have any of them just randomly show up, before a proper a proper iteration of them is established in the MCU? I feel it would be strictly fan service to comic readers and that the casual audience would either not get it, or just not have much of a reaction to it. If those soldiers were indeed the contact Monica was referring to, it's most likely one of the Skrulls.
Some are speculating that the engineer who designed that space rover was Reid Richards.
But then again it was a useless failure so... 🤷♂️
@@markd5727 Yeah I feel like if it was him who designed it, it would have worked better. Then again, it was built to Monica's specifications. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being an Easter Egg reveled once they actually get to the Fantastic 4 film. Then again, maybe it has nothing to do with Fantastic 4.
I think Agatha is the one that was trying to keep Vision and Darcy away. Agatha wants Vision to know this isn’t real. She broke character in 80s episode so he would start getting suspicious. She pretended to be hypnotized and told Vision that he was dead during the Halloween episode. I think she’s working with Hayward or they at least both want the same thing: Vision away from Wanda.

In the comics there wasn't too much to Agetha's character since she wasn't in that much storylines but she was never a full on villain
