I’m 35 and been listening to hip hop for a long time. Unfortunately around this era, maybe shortly after, was around the last time I actually enjoyed any of the music being made. Every now and then I hear a decent track but in 2020 for guys like me, hip hop has been trash for years. I try to be open minded and give it a chance but the quality is so low. There is no effort. Beats are weak and all sound amateur. There is nothing that makes these famous rappers better or more unique than the avg joe down the street.
