Beautiful find and gorgeous work cleaning and preserving the fossils! I wouldn't have known anything about you but Rocks Cousteau mentioned you and I decided to check you out. I'm glad I did. Take care and stay safe!
@@Treasurehunter11001 yeah my sister got me watching Rocks. I've never looked back. It's amazing the stuff he finds. I wish there are places like that here. God willing we'll all be safe take care and God bless.💖
I would love to find some of those crocks he finds and go down the marble factory dump creek! Yep let's hope everyone stays safe and well in these difficult times
Thank you for the vid. I really love the care you take with prepping your fossils and the finished product is always beautiful. Sandsend is one of my favourite places to fossil hunt but haven't been able to get out since the first lockdown - appreciate your videos all the more at this time!
Wow, it's amazing how you discover fossils, you have great talent for it and for cleaning them. That's a work of art wow wow wow, Blessings to you my friend.
The fossils that arouse my interest the most are the ammonites. They are beautiful. This is on a completely solid rock. Magnificent my friend. May the year 2021 be great in satisfactions for you my friend.
Beautiful find and display after the cleaning. Just got turned on to your channel. I don't know where you are but it's beautiful there. I have been a relic hunter for nearly 50 years and have always found fossils surface hunting the fields. Some of our chert arrowheads even have fossils in them. I will be subscribing. It's hard to get permissions to do anything where I live right now.
Thanks for the sub ! Good old Rocks . I filmed this video on the Yorkshire coast in England , that’s a couple hundred miles from where I live , would have liked to get back there but we are on a lockdown here right now and can’t travel . You must have found a lot of stuff relic hunting for 50 years, I hope to be arrowhead hunting in the US one day .
Love the ammonites. I have found some jurassic ones here in Germany. But these quarries are far away from my home. So hopefully the time will change that I can do some elaborating fossil hunting tours/outings to find lovely ammonites.😉 Great prep work 👍🏻💪🏼
Yeah you got to go for it in these times , look forward to seeing if you find some ammonites . Just a little prep but changes the whole look of a common find 👍
@@Treasurehunter11001 Iv watched your drone video is that where you live? Looks beautiful 🤩 We are lucky we live by the sea and the island is only 24 miles wide 😜
@@WightFossilTours Thanks for watching that footage was taken within walking distance of my house, beautiful area , I am planning on getting some footage of the Yorkshire coast if we can travel later in the year .
@@Treasurehunter11001 look forward to seeing them 😉 The drone will handy for exploring 💪 Must be a nice bottle dump near you as metal detecting is a no go 😜
@@WightFossilTours I would love to find a secluded bottle dimp round here somewhere🤔 , I do have a metal detecting video I need to finish . I took that footage when I made the previous video . But like you say I think it maybe banned right now . Good luck when you next go Fossil Hunting
@@Treasurehunter11001 im lucky living so close to the Holderness coast. The perenoceras was nice and love the iridescent ammonite. Make sure you don't coat it with anything as it can mask the colors, also they do tend to loose the colors over time unfortunately.
Glad you are liking the videos🙂 I use Paraloid it's a form of acrylic that dissolves in acetone , once you brush it on the fossil the acetone evaporates and leaves you with a glossy coating that protects the surface of the fossil .
@@Treasurehunter11001 incredible!! Thank you so much 😁 I just finished watching your fossil prep playlist, your work is amazing!! Can’t wait to try and prep my fossils some day- although they’re just leaves and flowers and wouldn’t be nearly as cool 😂
@@shvonnemarie thanks for the compliment, I got the dremel to experiment to see if I could do some fossil preparation at a low cost on some of the softer rocks compared to buying expensive air preparation tools . Going to be doing a little more soon.
Thanks for watching and the sub, let's hope the Covid situation improves or I am gonna get withdrawal symptoms from not being able to go and find goodies . We are probably gonna be looking at 2 months with this new lockdown

Feliz año nuevo Coyote, las amonitas también son mis favoritas, buena suerte en la caza de puntas de flecha en 2021
Hey, I found my first ammonite on that beach. Great finds and beautiful footage. 😘
I think you may have found your first ammonite at Saltwick Bay, but dont quote me on that one 😘
@@Treasurehunter11001 You’re right sweetie, that was Saltwick Bay. I can’t keep all the names straight 🤓
Thanks for taking us along. Nice prep :) For grinding buy some diamond burrs miles quicker than those sanding stone things and only cheap to ;)
Thanks for watching John, I may get some of those diamond burrs if I carry on prepping stuff thanks for the advice 👍
Great stuff. Happy new year to all.

some good finds a great prep mate
Nothing as good as what you are finding , but a little bit of prep to a common Dac made it look a bit more special, thanks for watching

Gulls round there are vicious mate ha
Yeah they sure are 🤣
Makes you realize how dramatic the die off was. Fossil beds all over that shale.
Just reminds us how fragile life is . One small change on earth or in space and everything is gone.

Come dig in the states with us, Starting a new channel this week.... welcoming guests

I will be checking that out Colin thanks
Correct me if I'm wrong mate but was that bone in that big block at 5.30.
There’s something in there wood or bone maybe , not something I would be attempting to extract out of that huge boulder
