Well, then buy a house that's more contemporary and decorate it that way. Old fashioned decor is not for everyone. Considering the owners are elderly, it makes sense their furniture wouldn't be modern or futuristic. You are obviously younger and prefer a more youthful, modern look.
This is a beautiful mansion, no doubt. But at the age I am now, I wouldn't want something as big as this. I am looking at the cost to maintaining it. Of course if I have the money to buy it, I would have the money to maintain it. I would have to have people running in and out of my house to keep it clean. I wouldn't like that, because I am a private person. Oh well, I can dream can't I? Lol

Anyhow, my point is that you'd be lucky to feel one earthquake a year. Those high numbers are probably just registering earthquakes that no one feels, nor shakes any glass, etc. It's not scary at all. Actually, I actually like the feeling. xD Haha! Granted, I wouldn't want to be in a big, destructive one. But living here, earthquakes aren't even a big worry. I'd be more afraid of crazy, and/or stupid people, or drivers, etc.
Kid82fy absolutely!👍🏼 Try looking around Austin suburb (Rollingwood), Dallas suburbs (Frisco and Allen) and Houston suburbs (Sienna plantation, Greatwood, and Cinco Ranch). There are a lot more suburbs around Texas that’s worth the bang for your buck in terms of living space, luxurious houses, etc.
wow not impressed for the price,what i noticed is everyone empized the view, well the layout of the house was kind of goofy, to many twists and turns, i think a more open layout would be a better set up for the view, ya, not too empressed
