It is DEFINITELY a good choice!! SSW are very in demand specially in smaller cities like Dawson. :) I don’t have any idea how much it is but prepare roughly 28kcad for tuition and miscellaneous for 2 years :) part time jobs are also great here. Wag lang picky esp. we dont have local references cause we need to look for experience first. Then if may nakita kang better jobs later on, then ut would be easier for you to pursue it :) hope this helps!

Hi there. I am not 100% sure about this for Mexicans. From what I know if you have a Bachelor's degree, and have English as a Medium of Instruction in your University or College, they MIGHT waive the IELTS for you.
There’s a high risk for this one. But it will all be assessed on how you would defend it in your SOP (Statement of purpose), which is considered as your love letter to the visa officer. :)

A lot of jobs here focuses on healthcare and fastfood industry. You can try applying to call centres from big city and ask the employer if pwede ang work at home.

You can try sa mga avail gyms to work as part time zumba instructor. I’m not quite familiar sorry. Sa FSJ ang next big city would be prince george, mga 5 hrs away, and Grande Prairie Alberta, around 3 hrs away.

Hi Rodel! Mostly samin sa Business Management - HADM is medical field related graduate :) so, may mga ilan sa amin nagsstruggle sa math. Pero most of the instructors are nice naman. So you can ask them for clarification. I would not say madali ang subjects kase kailangan may effort din talaga on the part of the student. Although dito kase ang passing mark is 50-60%, sa pinas sanay tayo sa 75%. :) tapos if nahihirapan ka, pwede ka lumapit sa learning support specialist and ask ka ng tutor. May mga students, like me na nagtututor ng co-students :)

Part time job would be easy to find. apartments are quite far from the school and they are usually unfurnished. if you are a new comer to canada, I do not recommend to take apartment immediately. you can stay in a room for rent or the dorm, try gather things, and then move to an apartment. :)

Yes.. it is available for international students and NO IELTS. it is a 1 year program :) if you want to have 2 years PGWP partner it with another program. One of my classmate shifted from HADM to ABT, and she's planning to add Advance Certificate in Management. :)

I tried checking with my application before and it said that you can still refund the tuition fee if ever (but hope not) the visa officer rejects your application. During my time the down payment is $5000 Cad. If for instance I was rejected by the VO, they will return $4700 only since the $300, which is what they consider as a processing fee will no longer be eligible for refund. :)
yes, but you have to coordinate with their representatives if you still need IELTS or no. I think, if you already have a degree from your home country only English as a Medium of instruction is needed.

Yes.. it is available for international students and NO IELTS. it is a 1 year program :) if you want to have 2 years PGWP partner it with another program. One of my classmate shifted from HADM to ABT, and she's planning to add Advance Certificate in Management. :)

Hi, I sent an email this morning to apply for NLC. I saw there's a non-refundable fee of $6000 for international students. Is this fee inclusive of the tuition? What exactly is the fee for, just trying to understand before I confirm. I found your information really helpful, sorry to be a bother.
@@helloworld.8989 hello. Sorry I was busy the past few days 😩 Hmm. I tried checking with my application before and it said that you can still refund the tuition fee if ever (but hope not) the visa officer rejects your application. During my time the down payment is $5000 Cad. If for instance I was rejected by the VO, they will return $4700 only since the $300, which is what they consider as a processing fee will no longer be eligible for refund. :)

yes, but you have to coordinate with their representatives if you still need IELTS or no. I think, if you already have a degree from your home country only English as a Medium of instruction is needed.
