I used to live in Cookridge, good view of the flight path when they landed heading north west, I was often amazed that aircraft could land at all on some windy days. Windy Ridge, we called it.
Used to live in Eldwick and had some fairly bumpy rides in and out of there .I still watch Blue Sky’s UA-cam channel, sp LBA.
Was landing well long anyway.
