@@helios4142 11 does look nice and the explorer tabs kinda appeals to me, but the lack of the tiles which I use to create a album corner in my computer and the fact that some functionality got 2 or more clicks to even get there and the oversimplification of some things kinda holds me back

I love the new features. As a Windows Insider I've seen and tried most of these new features like the File Explorer Tabs and it's made me more productive and I can't wait for everyone to get their hands on it

It may not be up to windows 10 good but it's getting there. For those who use windows 10 still and aren't in depth usage wise, keep using it unless you want to mess around in it or want the new looks.

Since they added folders for the start menu icons, I'm OK with the new menu. You can again group office, audio/video editing tools as well as games and other stuff. That was a really important feature since Windows 8 and I'm glad that it came back.

Damn I think this update really polished the os. I tried it and definitely now the software feels really lively and intuitive. I think this really gave the optimizations needed for fluid animations that feel mesmerising and captivating enough to feel worth an upgrade. The new functions also add to the productivity. Well done!
Very nice! Switched from MacOS to Windows about two years ago and the biggest flaw of Windows I had was it's UI... Which has honestly come quite a long way since then! Looking forward to future improvements, cause so far they've been pretty sweet. ;)

There is always the chance of hardware incompatibilities (in my case, mic and fingerprint sensor) and Linux has a learning curve. When running on a server, Linux is a great choice, such as home NAS or a Web server, but operating systems like windows that ship with your computer and are guaranteed to work almost never give you trouble
@@user-91291 for advanced users windows gets in the way a TON, and linux should work with most hardware, although compatibility isnt perfect (but thats because of the minimal market share sadly), but its getting there. It is true that it has a learning curve, but so does windows, and its not any "harder" by nature (if anything, linux makes more sense), and using something like KDE or Cinnamon should be easy enough for a windows user. Compatibility is definitely a weak point when compared to huge market share OS's, but imo the benefits of linux over windows waay outweight the disadvantages

Looking forward to switch to Windows so Microsoft can record my voice 24/7 and listen and watch everything I do on my computer and send that little neat packaged data to their cloud, along with having Microsoft control my hard drive with the help of my PC's TPM 2.0, my own hardware! They get to keep my key in their cloud servers so I can have the privilege of accessing my own PC :)) I sure do love Microsoft!!
I LOVE this! basically since I was 10, I really, really wanted a Windows 10 laptop. My parents said I'm to young, and I agreed to that. Now I'm 12. But since I saw all those videos, trailers, and future concepts of Windows 11, I now am reaaally looks forward of having a Windows 11 laptop. Hopefully I'll get ir soon :)

Would love to see a "Performance Mode" button in the task manager like the "Efficiency Mode"... would be a lot better to isolate certain apps to the P-Cores rather than the OS deciding whether or not it defaults to E-Cores.

I'm so thankful to Windows for all the great improvements and more production in Windows 11. A beautiful and incredible new features come in Windows 11, it truly brings some of the best tools and quick solutions to us like Multi-Tasking, and Switch desktops, and also becomes a great evolution of the user experience especially the File Explorer and successful production. I'm so pretty excited to upgrade and looking forward to the new features.
I still think 11 is a bit premature, and all of these features can be integrated to 10. Still, it's good to have these features finally introduced to the masses.

After 1 year saving money, I bought my Surface Laptop Studio, the best Laptop I have saw on my life. Windows 11 is so beautiful, so powerful, so enjoyable, WINDOWS 11 IS SO AWESOME, I LOVE IT
Constant updates to the UI will never end, we can never get familiar with how something works and implement it into our daily routine because of constantly changing everything. Just keep adding new features every single day when we havent even been able familiarise ourselves with the first iteration of a feature last week because its either removed or totally overhauled to the point of something being conepletly different and unfamiliar.
Windows 11 22h2 is a very good OS version made by Windows, but I have experienced a lot of issues in this version. I am a Dev insider so I have these issues...but when I tried Windows 11 22h2 for the public releases...I felt like Windows should work on it. As always Windows has been the best Operating System and they should keep up the work!!

The only way you can make the vast majority of windows 10 users change to windows 11 is to have the same customizability as windows 10. That is all, that's literally what your community wants. Don't remove features that people like, add new ones on top of preexisting ones to make the transition easier. I wish I could daily drive windows 11 but it has so many missing features from what I'm used to with windows 10 that I cannot bring myself to do it. Other than that, the animation and filming of this video is top-notch! The visuals are outstanding and the look and feel are truly something unique. Update: Wow taskbar drag-n-drop is actually back! I did not expect that but it is very welcome nontheless. The feature that I would absolutely love to come back is moving the taskbar. If that feature returns I am swapping to windows 11.
Windows 11 22h2 is very good and much faster than the original release (Windows 11 21h2), also it works smoothly on Skylake processors (similar to Intel 8th Gen processors Coffee lake). Microsoft you did a great job just keep doing that and I missed Steve Ballmer (2000 - 2014 / Windows XP - Windows 8.1).

@Lemoker Windows XP was supported for 13 years. Which made it one of the longest supported software (for free). Windows 10 would have been supported for 15 years by 2030 which would simply be way too long. Especially since sales and revenue will probably drastically dropped by then. You may be able to purchase 3 or 5 years of extended support for Windows 10 if this is what you *really* need. Otherwise, there's lots of hardware that's 15 years old by now that can be easily upgraded to run Windows 11. Install a TPM 2.0 chip on your motherboard and use UEFI to boot and you're OK.
It already does. Windows only uses 600mb. The rest is cached to accelerate programs and the OS. If it needs that RAM, it will dump the cache. Unused RAM is wasted RAM.

But File Explorer does not look exactly like that....I can see a lot of differences in colors, shadows, borders. Same for the Snap Layout, there are no animations that fill the rectangles blue, not even animations when switching from a Desktop to another. I think it looks really good what we see in the video, but it's not real, not even in the latest insider preview build. I hope they will update all those fine details and that we will actually be able to experience them.
Great video and looking forward to the tabbed file explorer, enhanced snap. Don't really use the snipping tool, but might try it. Already used multiple desktop, and nice to see gaming improvements. Android apps will be interesting - may take quite a bit of CPU to run well!

Google refuses to co-operate or form partnership with MS on literally anything. One good example is unavailability of playstore for Android subsystem, MS had to partnership with Amazon.
Actually love this! I love how you express the ui with a beautiful frosted glass texture and how everything is on layers where the can just fly onto the thing below it, I just love it. Keep up the good work and props to the animators and designers for this.
Very interesting features…Wish I could update it, but I’m a little bit nervous. When I updated Windows 11 on my laptop, it deleted Wi-Fi feature. Did you at least fixed this bug problem?
It's not a bug in Windows, it's your laptop manufacturer. That's a reason why I don't want to buy laptops and I don't recommend it. Many of the laptop manufacturers change the chips they get. These chips don't run on the publicly available drivers but require special made ones from your laptop manufacturer. If they don't hire good programmers and don't think support is necessary, you're probably left alone if you don't get the customer service of your laptop manufacturer to provide you with a proper driver for Windows 11. You might get one to run with a bit of tinkering, but it's probably easier for you to buy a compatible USB WiFi stick for 10 bucks and use that one.
Really beginning to consider updating to windows 11 now. One thing that would be a fantastic is a game mode that makes your Home Screen look like the Xbox dashboard or something similar with all your games from each store and then another section with the rest of your stuff but with the customisation pc allows so more colour options, fonts, background ambience, etc that would be real cool make a pc feel like a console but with all the benefits of pc

I think people are too addicted to Windows 10 that they think It's better than Windows 11. I know they took away a few features but I mean Windows 10 is in like 70-80% of computers out there and they just started putting 11 on newer ones and I am using one of those and it works perfect and I love it.
When will you stop pushing Windows as a "touch devices OS" by making it less functional for PC users? When will you realise that people use mouse more than their fingers when it comes to laptops? It's annoying af!
Windows 10, 7, and XP will always be in my nostalgia, but sadly, Windows 10 is ending support by you. The 22H2 version of Windows 11 will be in my VMware, but we just cannot edit the taskbar with a Quick Actions anymore. Luckily, except Task Manager.
Just downloaded and it finally helping my gaming laptop to stay cool. Previously windows 10 was making the laptop extremely heating even though switching to battery save mode and changing maximum power consumption into 1% lol. GOOD JOB OVERALL! But I got sound issue sometimes like my sound wont work sometimes

I was using windows 8.1 for many years, never liked windows 10 but now loving windows 11 , feels very comfortable using amazing 😍

Constant updates to the UI will never end, we can never get familiar with how something works and implement it into our daily routine because of constantly changing everything. Just keep adding new features every single day when we havent even been able familiarise ourselves with the first iteration of a feature last week because its either removed or totally overhauled to the point of something being conepletly different and unfamiliar.
Windows 11 22h2 is a very good OS version made by Windows, but I have experienced a lot of issues in this version. I am a Dev insider so I have these issues...but when I tried Windows 11 22h2 for the public releases...I felt like Windows should work on it.
As always Windows has been the best Operating System and they should keep up the work!!
Yes, the Dev channel usually have more issues, I'm currently in Release Preview channel 22H2 with "Moments" 1 changes working well no issues

The only way you can make the vast majority of windows 10 users change to windows 11 is to have the same customizability as windows 10. That is all, that's literally what your community wants. Don't remove features that people like, add new ones on top of preexisting ones to make the transition easier. I wish I could daily drive windows 11 but it has so many missing features from what I'm used to with windows 10 that I cannot bring myself to do it. Other than that, the animation and filming of this video is top-notch! The visuals are outstanding and the look and feel are truly something unique.
Update: Wow taskbar drag-n-drop is actually back! I did not expect that but it is very welcome nontheless. The feature that I would absolutely love to come back is moving the taskbar. If that feature returns I am swapping to windows 11.
Windows 11 22h2 is very good and much faster than the original release (Windows 11 21h2), also it works smoothly on Skylake processors (similar to Intel 8th Gen processors Coffee lake). Microsoft you did a great job just keep doing that and I missed Steve Ballmer (2000 - 2014 / Windows XP - Windows 8.1).

Windows XP was supported for 13 years. Which made it one of the longest supported software (for free). Windows 10 would have been supported for 15 years by 2030 which would simply be way too long. Especially since sales and revenue will probably drastically dropped by then. You may be able to purchase 3 or 5 years of extended support for Windows 10 if this is what you *really* need.
Otherwise, there's lots of hardware that's 15 years old by now that can be easily upgraded to run Windows 11. Install a TPM 2.0 chip on your motherboard and use UEFI to boot and you're OK.

It already does. Windows only uses 600mb. The rest is cached to accelerate programs and the OS. If it needs that RAM, it will dump the cache.
Unused RAM is wasted RAM.

But File Explorer does not look exactly like that....I can see a lot of differences in colors, shadows, borders. Same for the Snap Layout, there are no animations that fill the rectangles blue, not even animations when switching from a Desktop to another. I think it looks really good what we see in the video, but it's not real, not even in the latest insider preview build. I hope they will update all those fine details and that we will actually be able to experience them.

More animations may make OS Memory eating. Well, there are transitions and other animations which are sufficient to recognize.

Great video and looking forward to the tabbed file explorer, enhanced snap. Don't really use the snipping tool, but might try it. Already used multiple desktop, and nice to see gaming improvements. Android apps will be interesting - may take quite a bit of CPU to run well!

Google refuses to co-operate or form partnership with MS on literally anything. One good example is unavailability of playstore for Android subsystem, MS had to partnership with Amazon.
Actually love this! I love how you express the ui with a beautiful frosted glass texture and how everything is on layers where the can just fly onto the thing below it, I just love it. Keep up the good work and props to the animators and designers for this.

It's not a bug in Windows, it's your laptop manufacturer. That's a reason why I don't want to buy laptops and I don't recommend it. Many of the laptop manufacturers change the chips they get. These chips don't run on the publicly available drivers but require special made ones from your laptop manufacturer. If they don't hire good programmers and don't think support is necessary, you're probably left alone if you don't get the customer service of your laptop manufacturer to provide you with a proper driver for Windows 11. You might get one to run with a bit of tinkering, but it's probably easier for you to buy a compatible USB WiFi stick for 10 bucks and use that one.

Really beginning to consider updating to windows 11 now. One thing that would be a fantastic is a game mode that makes your Home Screen look like the Xbox dashboard or something similar with all your games from each store and then another section with the rest of your stuff but with the customisation pc allows so more colour options, fonts, background ambience, etc that would be real cool make a pc feel like a console but with all the benefits of pc

I think people are too addicted to Windows 10 that they think It's better than Windows 11. I know they took away a few features but I mean Windows 10 is in like 70-80% of computers out there and they just started putting 11 on newer ones and I am using one of those and it works perfect and I love it.

Windows 10, 7, and XP will always be in my nostalgia, but sadly, Windows 10 is ending support by you. The 22H2 version of Windows 11 will be in my VMware, but we just cannot edit the taskbar with a Quick Actions anymore. Luckily, except Task Manager.

Just downloaded and it finally helping my gaming laptop to stay cool. Previously windows 10 was making the laptop extremely heating even though switching to battery save mode and changing maximum power consumption into 1% lol. GOOD JOB OVERALL! But I got sound issue sometimes like my sound wont work sometimes
