- El Nido is the paradise of the Philippines. Nowhere on earth are the islands so beautiful, the lagoons so blue and the jungle so green! Join us on a tour through the north of Palawan, one of the world's most special and natural islands. We will visit the Secret Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Cadlao Island, Shimizu Island, Miniloc, Bokal Island, Nacpan Beach, Las Cabanas, Marimegmeg Beach and many more!
Earlier you also saw us visiting Bohol, an island with an equally unique nature. You saw the Chocolate Hills and the special tarsiers there. We flew to Palawan and visited one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World: the Underground River. There we stayed on the beach in Puerto Princesa and took you on a tour through the tropical rainforest, the mangrove forests, the open sea and the underground river.
We make our trip through the Philippines during a world tour of one and a half years. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia. The next continent Asia and Bohol is already our twentieth destination. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Philippines, from Bohol to Palawan and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross over to Africa! I lived in the Philippines for 8 years it's heaven. I got back to UK and told my friends about it and we have all go every year on vacation for the past 10 years....its the best place on the planet. Philipinos are brilliant................My favorite place is Davoe.

I just came back from Philippines. I’m half Filipino myself on my moms side. It was my 2nd trip to the Philippines this year. We Flew into Lapu lapu city. My first trip in 2019 we went to Bohol and butanding in oslob. El nido palawan was the destination the following summer in 2020 but covid canceled that.
This past trip we went to baracay, moalboal, and Bohol once again. Plan on going back next summer and hoping finally visit el nido palawan🇵🇭

Hi Zenie, I wouldn’t know. I don’t really have the impression that too many companies are owned by foreigners. We stayed at a locally owned hotel and used local tour companies. We always do this and it benefits the locals. It’s also a choice to make when you visit, just make the right one 😁👍🏻

Hi Ana! We enjoyed Palawan a lot. We have been to the Philippines twice and we’ll be back for sure. Unfortunately the weather was a dealbreaker from time to time and it got a lot worse after we left. So we’ll go back in the right season and I want to see those places for sure! Have you subscribed? You’ll probably see more of thé Philippines in the future and next up is now Africa 😁👍🏻
Philippines will experience El Nino by June.. would mean dry season will be extended perhaps all throughout this year.. Balabac Palawan is equally as beautiful as Maldives without expensive resorts.. and try to visit Romblon islands it has Tablas, carabao and cresta de gallo islands but quite remote to travel at the moment not suitable if you have a kid i guess..😅

Hi! In English it’s not however 😁👍🏻 places are pronounced differently in different languages.. have you been to Paris? Did you pronounce it French? 😉 I am from the Netherlands, not a single tourist will ever pronounce the names Dutch. That’s all good, because language is a great thing 😍
Did you book your hotels ahead of time or were there available affordable hotels when u got there?
Hi, we booked our hotel in advance. We were there with New Years Eve so we expected high season. I would advise to book your accommodation in advance. Are you going to other places in Palawan / Philippines aswell? I also have a video about Underground River in Palawan and the island of Bohol on my channel 😊

There is no regulation not unlike in Boracay.
Trying to make sense of your accent. Are we neighbours? You Dutch, me Westphalian? My wife is Pinay, our three daughters half so. Sometimes I think we should just sell everything here and move over. Never any heating costs anymore... But well... Typhoons... Medicare... and there it just begins.

which tour is best for 70 Yr old who wants to see the lagoons and caves by boats but can't walk far? Kayak would be OK if someone else driving

It would have been nice if you actually identified the places' names - some you just called "a small lagoon, world famous" but you do not mention it's names. If this is a guide - sorry but not sure what guidance i got. Beautiful video though. Glad you enjoyed.
Haha the small lagoon and the big lagoon are the names of the places. The names that they will use too. I actually mentioned all the names of the places just as they are 🤪

Hi :) very nice shots! I will go to El Nido soon as well and hopefully, I will fly with my Mini 3! I wanted to ask for some info regarding the rules there! Bc I read that is mandatory to register the drone and ask for permission to fly. I contacted them through the official email on their website but no one answered! Do you have some suggestions? :)
I believe any drone less than 250 grams do not need a permit.

Hi there! Dry Season is November to May. We were there lastJanuary and the weather was superb. There will always be some rain, but as you can see enough sunny days as well. 😜👍🏻 Have you checked out our other videos about Southeast Asia? And have you been to the Philippines?
