Do you also love the snow as much as I do? Let me know about your childhood memories and how the snow makes you feel.

Remrov's World of Autism Ill check out the video you mentioned.
I grew up in the country in the middle of nowhere. When it would snow it was completely silent except for the sound of each flake hitting the snow. My older brother and I would sled or go on the pond. We'd build snow tinnels, have snow ball fights.
I could tell parts of this were hard to talk about 😢

I love the snow. There was a lot of snow in Ohio where I started growing up. It reminds me also of when I was a kid. I also remember everything like a photo. Thank you for the video.

Aaron, Thank you too for your response. Sometimes it's nice when you remember everything, but with some things it's also not that nice.

Remrov's World of Autism hi again remrov! Yes you are right I have also bad memories and they do not ever go away. I know what that is like so o am sorry that you have that problem to. Maybe though our photo memory is what makes us be able to draw and make music so good though. I guess there is a good side to everything.

Here in Montreal we have a lot of snow, which is great. In the Netherlands it was always very rare. Do you like the snow?

I can imagine. In the Netherlands there was never enough snow that school was cancelled unfortunately.

Yes memories can bring smiles and tears.. The snow is very nice I don't do well with cold weather..I like the snow..but I shiver when I see the falling snow.. Good video Remrov..

When I was little I did very badly in cold weather. But now i live in Montreal I know how to dress for cold weather, and I'm bothered a lot less by it. The difference is also in the Netherlands you take your bicycle everywhere, and here in Montreal you walk or take public transportation. It's just more difficult to stand the cold on a bicycle I find.

Remrov's World of Autism.. Yes a bike would be cold in the snow.. The crazy thing is I love driving in the snow cuz it is a challenge..

I can imagine. I don't drive. i don't have a drivers licence. I know that I would be a danger on the road. I'm distracted too easily, and when you drive a car you have to focus on so many things at once. I think it would be too overwhelming.

    1. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It is valued.
    2. I live in Africa - very few places, on the whole continent, with snow! But I was in the UK for 2 years, and experienced a great snow fall. I loved it. Your video reminded me of that experience, thank you.
(p.s. your tiger cub is really beautiful)

Thank you very much for your compliments. Do you like living in Africa? I knew a few people once who lived in Cape Town. In some parts of Africa they speak Dutch right? (I am Dutch, that's why I ask).

My memories are more in scents and sensations rather than pictures. I don't have a good memory. I enjoyed hearing about your childhood winter memories. I grew up in the Florida keys so our winters were tropical and mild. I never knew you had a twin brother. My sister and I were close as children but we also grew apart. She died last year and today is one year anniversary of her death so this is a strange day for me. Our child hood was abusive but she always made me laugh. Thank you for sharing your childhood and helping me to appreciate my sisters memory.

Nice video! Since you live in Montreal, do you also speak French?

    • @RemrovsWorldofArtandAutism

Thank you. No I don't speak French. I immigrated to Montreal from the Netherlands in 2013. I haven't had the time yet to learn French.
