Question for you. When you get a new contact drawings to create structural shop drawings. Does your client provide connection detail information such as calculations and type of connections you should use on the project? Or after you do your work the PE (professional engineer) check your connections.
I am new to Advance Steel. I am working on a project, and I am learning as I go, my question is how do you proper number everything? I also have multiple question for getting 2D plans the way I would like to see (having a hard time with this). I started my model and numbered everything randomly since Idk what I was doing and now I am trying to do it correctly. I would like to number everything in such a way it would make sense for example columns to be maybe C1 and any parts attached to columns C1p2, C2p2 or for beams B1p2, B2p2 for stringers S1. How can I make the program do this? its giving me different ID names. Maybe I just need more practice. I already spent a week trying to figure things out. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you!!!!
Couple extra things to note with Numbering, if you Re-run numbering and objects already have a number they may not update. In this case you need to delete numbering and re-run numbering. If you delete numbering you will also lose the changes to the CS Orientations.

The numbers should change unless you have altered them manually
What happened if you had created drawings? And the numbers change? Do I need to check all drawings for number change?
@@GS_AGVentures you need to renumber and update, of course I would also check too
