Rest In Peace to a New York Original! Love sent from Brooklyn
rest in peace billy murcia. we haven't forgotten you.
Syl passed away aged 69 from cancer on January 13. 2021.
His book "There's No Bones in Ice Cream" is wonderful.
I saw him play in Tokyo in 2018 as The Dolls. He was the only NYD member in the band but he brought back the energy of the original band who toured with my band back in '73.
RIP to one of the best.
A New York Doll till the end. Love you Syl, always in our hearts.

The New York Dolls reunited in recent years were just fantastic Steve & Sami fantastic saw em 5 times 10/10 always ... seeing Sami fill in for that bit with The Hellacopters was very cool An Awesome Bass Player ... shame they didn’t keep it going ....

Such a nice cat!...Very pleasant to listen to....
RIP Syl 💖
I MISS YOU SYL!!!
Reading his book right now, love the Dolls
I can't recall the bass player but the line up was Sylvian, Jerry Nolan at the continental divide late eighties/ early nineties?? Sylvian upfront n I recall even in casual clothes Jerry Nolan exuded a quiet confident sense of style. Very small club/ stage .
Ghost of Johnny in background 2:59 😮 lol. RIP Sylvain, Johnny, Jerry, Arthur, and Billy.
Love forever 💗
Living talking history
Sylvain is the most important person to ever rock. Revolutionizing music and fashion while empowering all us queers and Jews to get into punk. May his memory be a blessing, baruch Hashem!
He looks the same, just forever young looking.
I Wish Sylvain would get the Dolls back together again.
