The question asked is different from the question answered. Caller asked specifically about remineralizing purified water for use in coffee / espresso machines to prevent damage to the internal parts of the machine and to produce great tasting coffee. This is addressed on the Barista Hustle website and elsewhere, but is not addressed in this video clip.
A little bit of Himalayan salt for electrolyte and some lemon/lime for alkaline and flavor ❤. If you food already has alot of salt then you can skip added it to the water
It's sparks my paranoia......I have a countertop reverse osmosis and it reads 0 on two different TDS meters... and it tastes like nothing....I use it for coffee and making iced tea...and I never have to descale anything I use it in....I have these mineral drops called sea minerals...I put a couple of drops in anything I make with that water hoping that helps...
So do i add the himalayan salt to the tank of the zero water counter top dispencer? And how much salt should i add? Is there a source i can read on that? Thank you
@@jackmacejko47 I would question your results as humans need a balance of all the electrolytes In order to keep water properly distributed in the body. The reason you die of dehydration when you drink salt water is because it throws off that balance and sucks water out of your cells, potassium is the counterpart to sodium that sucks water into the cells, too much potassium and your cells explode. There are other electrolytes as well, falling into either the sucks water out of or into cells categories, but sodium and potassium are the mains.
If you can find red clay bricks you can pass the ro water through the washed clean clay bricks.. The minerals present naturally in the clay comes to water,, these bricks keep on releasing minerals for atleast 4-5 years.. To make water alkaline use some lime stone for passing water
Unfortunately 99% of all vegetables found for sale has so much chemicals pumped into it it's not worth eating your greens anymore. I switched to a red meat diet only and improved my health 10 fold. I do thing that a vegan diet is the healthier option but only in the case that its 100% organically maintained soil which doesn't exist.
Please explain? And dont reply with some bro science about how it's going to pull minerals from the body. The amount of minerals we get from water is so minuscule, trace amounts, hence the product name. Surely, if you're eating a nutrient and mineral rich diet, it doesn't matter? Or am I missing something?
that was weak. Trace mineral drops sound good but expensive. You should aim for hundreds of miligrams per liter of calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron etc. It's pounds per year. I wanna know the cheap formula. I bought a kilogram of magnesium chloride, potassium chloride and found out that it's too bitter to use them all. There's just too much chloride. There has to be a rock that will leach pure calcium and magnesium. Maybe it is the dolomite but people say it's not very effective (because the water isnt acidic) I could nerd it out by using calcium hydroxide and then neutralizing the water with CO2 but it's too much labor, measuring each on a scale, calculating molar masses of each salt, measuring pH etc. So I keep drinking RO water and buying mineral water so that I dont die from it
@@grahamsiebring5227I finished a 5 liter jug the other day like nothing. Of course it can be dangerous. Look it up. Not to mention that it doesnt quench thirst.

Coffee was never mentioned in this video?

Just a small pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt in your 1.7 Litre Zero Water would be fine to reminetalise 👍💦

Is it enough to use some Himalayan salt? It’s almost all sodium.
What’s the cheapest way to remineralize water?
The drops are pricy, there must be a cheaper way to keep and add those minerals.
Himalayan salt, good for electrolytes too
@@wingking077 Americans typically have too much sodium in their diet already though, it would be better to use potassium, or manganese.
Just did a super hyper intensive 20 minute dive.
Looks like unrefined salt from not a dirty source is all ya need.

Is Ro water suitable for drinking water

lol you don’t think they put things in red meat?

Dokt you get constipated
Do the animals do a good job at filtering out the chemicals in their feed and water?
Bull.
I don't know what this guy is talking about, remineralisation of RO water is essential!!!
Absolutely

Yea what kind of elements are best to add? I know quality salt is good
@@DrDanMDI mean why salt? Don’t you guys put salt in your food or something I missed?
