It must be forty years ago that I watched the driver and fireman argue continuously all the way from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge. I was in the leading coach and could hardly hear anything they were saying but it was quite heated! Lovely railway and locomotives, well looked after. I think 7, 8 and 9 have different exhaust chat. How about putting one of the VoR three back into BR blue?😉
Does anybody know if '590' is properly fixed and ever going to enter service? It seems to be wasting its boiler certificate and whilst looking sensational, is a hermit.

Yes, Its had some work done at VoR s workshops It was undergoing steam testing before going back to WHR. Nice surprise.
