Because of incompetent Khattar, this project couldn't be built. I will believe when this project will actually be built. This project is a big failure of BJP for last 10 years.
Haryana Government needs to push for Gurugram-Faridabad Metro also. Infact it can also start from Sikandarpur and end at Badkal Mor Station of Delhi Metro in Faridabad. Sikandarpur will have a Triangular Interchange with all 3 stations connected through Foot Over Bridges. Currently it takes around 1.5-2 hours to travel between Faridabad & Gurgaon. With Metro this duration will reduce to around 1 hour, saving people a lot of time and also reducing pollution significantly.
Here's the thing, you talked about building a "metro" between Gurugram and Faridabad, it would make sense only if there would be no sub-stations between them only then would net-time be saved
It took almost more than a decade for State Govt to launch this half baked project as it still has not included connection to Airport/Dwarka providing much needed alternate route....😢
