The upgraded SUPERB sees a new generation of engines make its ŠKODA debut. The 2.0 TDI outputting 110 kW (150 PS) is the first diesel from the new, particularly dynamic, efficient and low emission EVO generation. There is a total of seven engines, ten different engine/drive combinations and three chassis variants to choose from. The most powerful diesel is available with all wheel drive as an option, whilst for the range-topping petrol version it comes as standard. The new ŠKODA SUPERB SCOUT is exclusively available with either of these two top-of-the-range engines and all-wheel drive.
The new 2.0 TDI delivering 110 kW (150 PS) is the Czech brand’s first diesel from the new EVO generation of engines. In comparison to its predecessor, several aspects have been optimised, including the crankshaft assembly and the exhaust, turbo, fuel-injection and thermo-management systems. This results in a lower weight and fewer emissions as well as reduced fuel consumption. In the upgraded SUPERB, the 2.0 TDI producing 110 kW (150 PS) is available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG and fulfils the Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard.

I have owned two Skoda Superb's for the last decade and have driven about 140,000 miles / 225,000 km in them. Both have been completely reliable and being very refined diesels averaged 64 mpg over that time. My 2012 car felt more robust than the latest version but the newer one has more technology. They are a big step up from the Skoda Octavia in terms of luxury and not massively far away from Mercedes in comfort. I would happily buy another.

@@dragospahontu The Camry got pulled here as it only ever sold about 300 cars a year. The Superb sells in the low thousands a year and is also very popular with the emergency services who buy lots of them as well.
@@Pesmog it's a decent car, not many people are buying sedans, I guess. The RAV4 is the main seller in Europe for Toyota.
@@dragospahontu Aye, SUVs have taken the place of the sedan for most buyers. I do too many 600-800km days on narrow roads with lots of curves to use an SUV. I have had them as hire cars and find a sedan just a little bit more comfortable and faster on long days.

In these vehicles, there is a problem of headlight melting in the headlights without lenses. The leds melt the bright part called the bowl of the headlight. If you look at your headlight from the bottom up to the place where the leds are, you will see that the top of the second led has melted from the beginning.

As some have pointed out here, this Skoda Superb is not a sedan. It's a liftback. The only Superb sedan was the first generation.
No oversized grill or fake exhaust...

Tak niezawodny, że auto do dwóch lat jest już częstym gościem w ASO. A to skrzynia biegów, a to radio i inne elementy. Ciągle coś się psuje.
mam to samo.. DSG padlo całkowicie przy 80k km do tego pompa wody selektro biegow itp..

I have a 2012superb..compared to it..2022 model may have some extra features added to it..but the quality of the body density sucks..cant compromise on that..my car is a metal tank 👍
with new crash test norms, crumple zone in car is compulsory. so they have to design the cars keeping the crumple zone , so things have changed now. not that build quality has gone down.
but front bonnet has to meet the euro 6 pedestrian safety crumple, so sheet metal was design were takes impact and deforms
