I've never loved a female character so much before, Hong Cha Young was such a FANTASTIC female lead. Yeo Bin freaking crushed the role! She was just the most satisfying bit of crazy, bold, but classy. She was weirdly shameless yet dignified at the same time and watching her was like a breath of fresh air.

This drama seriously had everything. From the dark comedy, to action, to romance which I was least looking forward to thinking it could ruin the dynamics between the leads and the flow of the show, but the writer and director had proved me wrong. I started watching Vincenzo as a fan of none of the leads and have never watched any of their projects, but I've gotta say, I was impressed by all of them. I've also fallen for Jeon Yeo-been and couldn't stop girl-crushing on her throughout the drama. Vincenzo had characters that were really interesting and I like how the plot was more complicated than Fiery Priest (also a huge fan of this drama penned by the same writer!!). The main and supporting characters all got to shine and every episode was so enjoyable. Definitely a drama that's always fun no matter how many times you rewatch it.

Personally I think a marriage is the death knoll for a show with these two characters. I think they should even slow it down or because of an issue of her conscience like Descendants did, causing Cha young to back away a little. I would love to see Cha young moral dilemma after seeing what actually happen to Babo. I mean she started at “let’s not kill anyone “ to being ok with someone being used as a human pin cushion seeing her truly coming to grips with Vincenzo brutal and savage nature and his real world. I would love for them to explore that further and for her moral compass to be in conflict to truly leave the audience wondering is she going to stay with Vincenzo... Aaaah tension. For Vincenzo a human pin cushion is a Workday it’s a Tuesday ...it’s normal for him..being normal wasn’t normal for him. To see Vincenzo try to grasp bits of normal could have comedic elements but to a small degree so as not to belittle the character., he is the lead and his presence must be forefront. Also, strictly to add more tension bring in a rival to Vincenzo something that the rival can give Cha young something Vincenzo can’t ..a normalize life someone innocent and passionate like her Father. Girls tend to marry their Fathers so the audience is torn. Also to really address the psychosis of Vincenzo mind in whole or in part. Personally I think Vincenzo is a functional Sociopath. The difference Babo a true psychopath he was born genetically a monster .he will always be a monster....Vincenzo became who he is and can turn his monster like tendencies on and off. Ohhh there is sooo much to explore this character..so much so it actually hurts. 😭

I love how his character was portrayed. Badass and dangerous, strong, smart, sometimes a clown, very charming gentleman but in reality he's very tragic and broken figure. His character depth is amazing. Song Joong Ki has played him perfectly, nailed it 👍👏
