Windbreaker makes me realize Tokyo revengers is a lot of people first time when it comes to anime or delinquent genre.

You all need to stop comparing this show to Tokyo Revengers. The two series are fundamentally different, with completely distinct storylines and themes. Let's not forget that Tokyo Revengers is about Bosozoku biker gangs intertwined with time travel, rather than just a simple delinquent narrative.
It's astounding how frequently people compare this to Tokyo Revengers. While this isn't a bad anime by any means, it focuses primarily on intense physical confrontations. Viewers might be drawn to its well-choreographed fight scenes and impressive animation, and that's perfectly fine. However, this does not make it comparable to Tokyo Revengers simply because both shows feature delinquent elements. In reality, the characters here aren't even true delinquents; they act more like unofficial town protectors, with the delinquent theme serving merely as a backdrop.
The level of admiration for this anime, purely based on its animation, is overwhelming. Tokyo Revengers, on the other hand, is driven by its intricate story, and while its animation may not stand out, this doesn't mean Wind Breaker is superior just because it boasts good choreography and visual appeal. Preferring Sakura as a main character over Takemitchi is subjective, but it’s misleading to claim he's a better protagonist simply because his emotions are more straightforward, oscillating between anger and embarrassment.
Wind Breaker is indeed enjoyable for its animation and fight scenes, but it cannot be fairly compared to Tokyo Revengers. The two shows are fundamentally different. Firstly, Wind Breaker's storyline is weak, with a pacing so fast it could be compressed into a single episode. Tokyo Revengers, conversely, has a well-crafted storyline with a steady pace that allows for deep emotional engagement. How can viewers feel emotionally connected when Wind Breaker's narrative rushes by so quickly? The characters in Wind Breaker are flat, displaying only two basic emotions.
I won’t delve into detailed comparisons between Wind Breaker and Tokyo Revengers right now due to time constraints, but in my opinion, it's clear that they are incomparable. Tokyo Revengers offers a richer, more emotionally resonant experience due to its well-paced storytelling and complex characters, unlike the hurried and simplistic approach of Wind Breaker.

@@ts8650 WB is good because of its animation and fight choreography, but the story is so far simple to me. Simple stories are okay but they also need to be intriguing in some ways. WB couldn't make me feel intrigued in any way shape or form. Not saying TokRev doesn't have flaws; of course it has. And so does WB. But TokRev always kept you on edge. I remember watching season 1 and was always intrigued of what's gonna happen next. I didn't like Takemichi either but the side characters and the story was the saving grace for me. In WB, Sakura is better than Takemichi, sure, but he's still that generic-ass tsundere MC you'll see in many shonen/seinen or shojo/josei manga/anime. The side characters aren't also that fleshed out and the story is somewhat simple and okay. Someone said that the story gets better and told me to wait for the next seasons, but sorry, if it can't intrigue me now, I won't wait for the next seasons. And also that person told me that WB's story is simple but it's good at throwing hands and that's what people wants, then I'll rather go and read other manga like Sakamoto Days who throws hands like no other, and also has an interesting story.

Tokyo revengers and Wind Breaker aren't really comparable, the only similar thing is that they're high school "gang" members. Tokyo revengers is definitely better atm, but I can see Wind Breaker becoming better than it with more time.
