🫣 My complaints about the #Supernote #Lamy pen were so unfair. When you spend half your life taking notes digitally, you may not know basic things like how to use a pen loop. Thank you, @karlmunford7000 👇 ua-cam.com/users/shorts_VrawgwPzTY
With the pen, the idea is to leave the cap in place within the folio's loop, snapping the pen out when you need it then back again when you're done. Personally, I find I spend longer looking for a black button on a black pen than using either the eraser icon or the gesture eraser. I miss the backlight too, and though they state they left it out so that the pen nib is closer to _'the ink',_ I can't help wondering if they had battery consumption in mind also.
Why not just leave the pen cap in the loop and use the pen without the cap? Does it feel balanced without the cap? Have you compared this pen to their ceramic nibs?
That's the right question to ask 😊. Well, I didn't think about it until one of the viewers suggested it, just like you did. I published a follow-up video about it: 👇 ua-cam.com/users/shorts_VrawgwPzTY And, at least for my taste, it is perfectly balanced without the cap.

Thank you so much!

Nice first impressions vid man, I went with the HOM2 pen and the standard pushup pen and I'm loving both of them. Do I hear a Portuguese accent?
Meanwhile I’m still waiting on mine to arrive 😢
Your patience will pay off. It's a terrific device.
Okay, sync that beast with Obsidian and then we talk.

I would love to hear any feedback about the Obsidian Supernote plugin I built!

It took some days, but shipping always depende on so many factors. Didn't you get a tracking number?

no back light just makes it more natural like a real paper
I agree. Even on my Kindle, I keep the light off almost all the time. But I'm sure this is an important feature for many people.
