- Hi everyone! Sorry for the cheesy music, but I just had to! LOL I'm gettin' excited for summer! And this DID look like a seashell to me!

Ha! It worked on my hair!! Funny enough, I'm realizing that almost all of my standard hairstyles are modifications of styles you've done. This is the first one you've done that I haven't had to modify for my own hair. Yay!

And don't worry! Hair grows! And I bet there are tutorial videos here on YT that'll give you inspiration! Just search styles for shorter lengths until it grows a little longer!

me, personally, I would start with a french braid instead of the lace braid, so it doesn't stick up at the front.

I hear ya! The problem though is that if you do a french, you'll probably use hair on the top of your head that you may need for the braided part of the circle. You know what I could've done? A lace dutch. Those tend to lay pretty flat.
Sure! I have some requests to take care of that I'm behind with, but I will definitely do my best to try out and modify a few more of Heather's ideas for our length. She's got the best ideas!!

Oh, well, I understand. For awhile, and even sometimes still, it takes me that long to do specific styles. Keep practicing though, and soon enough you'll find that you cut that time into two, no problem!

The three I've modified the most are your Degas bun (which I plan on making a tutorial for as soon as we're done moving in mid July), the princess braids and that Catelyn Stark braid. The latter two I've turned into one and it looks so pretty in my hair. Again, I'll probably post a tutorial. I've been filming them when I do them (and each time I stress that these are your styles that I'm making work for me...) but none of them are turning out as I'd like.

Yes I think the braid was fishtail too. I was going to try and translate it like that, but I know that fishtail french braids are hard for some of my subscribers, and I thought a regular braid would still be pretty, but also much faster! I was think was imagining some of the gals doing this on the go, on a hot summer day! I'll look around and see if I can find you another version of this, fishtail style!!!
Oh no, really? I have to go back and check! Sometimes pieces get left behind and I don't notice until its too late!

I tried this today for something different, and while I'd never done a lace braid before, I got it first go... messy, but still definitely a seashell braided bun. I actually found your channel through a recommendation from TorrinPaige for styles like hers but for BSL-ish hair, so if you modify any more of her styles, could you please put note that in the vid name?
