I keep coming back to this video. Andy's amazing, and even though we don't 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 get to know celebs and these are just parasocial relationships, I love him and truly think he is a gem of a person.
I’ve always found him funny, but I fell in love when I saw that dance scene in Palm Springs. Surprised he didn’t win. I like Sasha too, but was cheering for Andy.
I’ve always hated Karaoke bc it’s usually people who had singing lessons who want to show off, but “We are the World” sounds hilarious and cheesy enough to do in a large group. I would love doing that.
At least he's not wearing a hippopotamus. Hippopotamuses ARE stupid. Wearing a tie would be inappropriate for this lighthearted video. But what does "ties ARE stupid"--whether they are or not--have to do with this video?
@@Evski-if4gn Chill with your clichés about ties. Btw, my comment about hippos may be absurd or even absurdist, but it's not a cliché, because, unlike "ties ARE stupid," it's not a saying.
I remember writing down the lyrics for 🎶Eat It🎶 for my classmates. Idk why that was a big deal to them. I guess maybe, bc they werent familiar with the song beforehand. But I remember thinking that it was weird bc they acted like I actually wrote the lyrics myself. For those that werent even a concept at that time > computers, printers & access to copiers were for the Ferris Bueller socioeconomic level kids/teens. And of course, no internet, just a couple of magazines dedicated to printing the lyrics of a few select, current songs. Oh & lyrics werent a standard with all vinyl, cassette & definitely not 45 singles. It was like hitting a small jackpot when the lyrics came with the cassette albums. Those where happy, happy, joy, joy moments. 🥳🥳🥳
Song that reminds you of your childhood: Eat It - Weird Al Yankovic A song you sing in the shower: All of the Lights - Kanye West // Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen A song that makes you laugh: Double Team - Tenacious D A song that you sing to your daughter: Moonshiner - Bob Dylan Your go-to karaoke song: We Are the World - U.S.A for America A song from a movie you've been in: Incredible Thoughts - The Lonely Island, Michael Bolton, Mr. Fish A song by your wife that you love: A pin light bent - Joanna Newsom A song that helps you relax: Billy Holiday - Etta James - Feist - Solange - Don Shirley A song that describes your new movie: When the morning comes - Hall & Oates // Cloud Busting - Kate Bush
At least he's not wearing a hippopotamus. Hippopotamuses are stupid. (If you think this comment is weird, that may be because it's actually a reply to a comment about his not wearing a tie, which would indeed feel inappropriate, but the comment concludes with the statement that ties are stupid--which, regardless of whether you agree or disagree, seems totally irrelevant to the video.)
that was literally refference to brooklyn 99, his tv show and we all b99 fans love comments like that, i don't understand what's wrong with that comment??? i'm not trying to be mean, just curious
Fair question. Obviously, Andy's not wearing a tie, but the claim that ties are stupid is irrelevant to the interview, per se. However, since "ties are stupid" is an allusion to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a highly acclaimed TV series (2013-2021), starring Andy Samberg, that's arguably a clever leap. Now, since you're probably sitting down, you won't fall over when you read this: I was unaware of Brooklyn 99. How is that possible? Simple: I don't own a TV, never have, and probably never will. Not that I'm a Luddite. I have a desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile. But television has always struck me as a waste of time. (To each his own.) So I'm probably lucky that my comment got this reaction, because now that I'm aware of Brooklyn 99 and see that it has a rating of 8.4 on IMDb, I can watch it on Hulu, and I hope that I'll agree it's that good.
@@alwaysuseless why are you so sarcastic? I am aware that people don't watch Brooklyn 99, it's totally normal. Why don't let them have some fun. It's normally for people to quote lines from the show :)

Watching Andy talk about his wife's song made my heart melt.
Andy seems more natural and relaxed (relatively speaking) than I've seen him in most interviews. He's usually so reserved, which always surprises me.

Forever and Ever by Demis Roussos is my favorite song from Palm Springs. The whole soundtrack is great, though.
Agreed, Forever and Ever has been on repeat ever since I watched the movie!
