In the flesh (both parts) are very easy, give that a try, the thin Ice is tricky and another brick part 1 not gonna lie is hell to play because timing the high notes
As I look closer at whats being played verses what in the tab, there seems to be a fair bit wrong in the tab. whats being played sound right. so not sure were the tab came from.
Threw me off a little, but the big changes were at least consistent. The notated 5th double stops are all octaves, the section on the 14th and 16th frets is on G string not E, and the bit with the major 7ths is E B E not D B E. Some minor rhythm changes between notation and what's played and the album.
I think it sounded almost perfect, but your hands posture are so uncomfortable to see - take care about it or you might hurt your wrists. Try to make your right hand stay at a solid position, just moving your fingers and not your entire hand structure and do a softer curvature in your left hands (prefer the index or minimum finger to use big slides)
Hello, good job but, be carrful between mesure 100 at mesure 103 you play on the G string and you note, on the tab on the E string ... But thank a lot for this job
@@manojkumarsarma6111 "... A fretless bass enters, also played by guitarist David Gilmour rather than usual bassist Roger Waters..." Played by David Gilmour, This does not mean that Gilmour composed it.
Not bad. Was helpful. However, there are numerous differences between the tab and what you are actually playing. Still helpful to me, but a less experienced player might find the differences confusing.
Not sure if its me or not but the Tab doesn't seem to match what your playing at 3:30. Tab is for the E sting but your playing the D for this little run! other wise a good job. and its a song I am starting to learn myself. having just got into bass.
I love this version. I cannot find the tabs for this version anywhere. If at all possible could you tell me where to get it. All the versions on Ultimate guitar are not this. Thanks Ali, if not I understand.
Thanks. I know that, tabs are not completely fits with the music. Because original music haven't static metronome from begining to end. When you play with metronome after one minute metronome will sligtly slip.
sir I tried it with a fretless bass. because of camera limitations I could not add video of playing. Please listen to it and comment. Thank you. ua-cam.com/video/_KmZuhlBtCI/v-deo.html
Very nice!!!! I'm just starting out and love your style and how clean your tone is...nice bass!!! I have a Sterling Ray 34 by Music Man bass with a Fender Rumble 25w amp that I'm practicing with and I'm trying to dial in a clean sound like what I'm hearing from yours.
Just a little bit reverb from cubase. My setup was like this Fender USA Jazz Bass> Sansamp VT Bass>Rolland sound card>Cubase (with comp and reverb plugin)
Playing this on a Fretless sounds heavenly
This is one of the best bass scores ever.
Thanks man and I've been looking for a pink floyd cover like this
Thanks i hope you will enjoy😊
Great job man !
Thanks a lot for a perfect chance to play this great bsss line.
It was a great bass intro that fits prefect with the acoustic guitar
Thanks🙏
The ONLY one i can do is Goodbye cruel world..😉😉

roger loves doing those octaves

Yes, particularly measures 9&10??

Absolutly great and fantastic Job! I love this Song! Thank you so much! :)
Im happy for that thank you😊🙏
Roger Waters knows where exactly puts every single note.
But This bassline was played by David Gilmour on Fretless bass; not by Roger Waters; as I knew.

Thanks. I'm using this configuration; Fender USA JB > Sansamp VT Bass > Rolland sound card > Cubase (for this cover comp and reverb plugin )
How do you get your tone? I was not expecting that.
