the clamps have two holes and they match up to the slots on the outer pipe, make sure to unscrew the flanges all the way and slide off. I did this to my 2000 LS400 july 2023. I just kept wiggling it...passenger side was harder. eventually pulling down on the bend in the pipe right after the smaller mufflers, then wiggled it HARD side to side and as much as I could side to side. eventually they came off. there is also some sort of wire mesh gasket that looks JUST like header wrap but it's just a little under 1" wide, totally unusable after I got them off. mine is a little louder and meaner, but it's not like REALLY loud, just a little more rumbly, no rasp at all. I'll be replacing all the exhaust from the cats to the back and try vibrant mufflers. the piping after the smaller mufflers was 1 and 7/8" OD...too small
Hey man, random question but the ADDW1 catch can on the focus. I’m looking at getting one this week but wanted to know if you had any issues with it so far, and how you’d compare it for the price. Radium is another brand I’m looking at but I don’t wanna spend 100 dollars more when the ADDW1 is way cheaper and seems like it does the job well.
By any chance did you get a check engine light after removing the mufflers? I got one when I took two of mine off and then I put them back on then the check engine light was gone.
@@Nickjoenap dang hoping when I throw a full exhaust system on it maybe it won't pop back up. Thanks tho man! Love the videos helps me alot with my ls400
It's clear to me that I this individual has little or no understanding of how an exhaust system is designed to work. Without a resonator or correctly tuned length and diameter of pipe, the result is likely to be nothing more than a loss of power and efficiency. He seems to be ignoring the fact that intake is as important as outlet. Way to make a mess of a perfectly good LS400! Before anyone comments, I spent nearly 40 years building and tuning successful racing engines, so I have a little knowledge

Don't do single exit, these cars hate being restricted
What size is that exhaust tip?
Gotta use a cut off wheel on the grinder
i was but it was a cheap angle grinder so it was difficult

the addw1 is great. i haven’t had any issues with it and it’s definitely worth the money. i love mine it catches a lot of oil and looks good
@@Nickjoenap do you have the PCV one? Or which one is the front intake manifold one because I figured that’s the most critical one to get first.
@@ultimaartz-justinm.70 i have both but you only need the pcv one
@@Nickjoenap that the front one right?
@@ultimaartz-justinm.70 yeah
Where can i find the down tip? 😁
