  • Here's episode 54 of the "Blind Piper Reacts" series.
A few days after the song "Sad" by Lauren Alvarez was officially released, one of my sister's best friends was looking for more singers named Abby to add to my huge collection of the hottest singing voices. This was one of those singers he found, and I honestly have to say - this is one of the HOTTEST singer out of all the Abby singers in my super hot collection!!!!!!!! Honestly, Abby has SERIOUS LAUREN ALVAREZ vibes in her vibrato, especially with that strong Nicola Hitchcock-like volume variation in addition to being super hot in the first place. I don't know what country she's from, but when she speaks - as I heard it in a few of her clips introducing a few songs - she does have an accent.
The three songs I reacted to are to start out with the first song I've ever heard her singing, "Favorite Color", followed by "Walking Away", and then "For Once" where she sounds the most like Madilyn Bailey in terms of vibrato and the harmonies she uses.
Honestly, it's probably THE WORST SHAME EVER that we seriously do not have enough people who have really good / amazing / hot vibratos. Because of this, I feel absolutely compelled to share a video which talks about how to get a super hot vibrato in a healthy way, certified by and taught by one of the world's leading vocal coaches, opera singer Joyce DiDonato. So girls, if you follow Joyce's technique daily for 5 minutes a day, you'll be on your way to sounding like Abby!

By the way, that intro music you hear in the beginning is what an Italian zampogna bagpipe sounds like, modeled after the playing of an old piper in 1927, using loop-based samples that loop at the frequency of the note which is how modern electronic bagpipes sample their notes. I feel like exposing more people to Italian bagpipes is probably the best thing to do as I wait to get my hands on a set of those. This time, they're sampled from the recordings of Mazzillo, the greatest Italian bagpipe maker in history (when I say "Holy Mazzillo"). They're the best Italian bagpipes EVER made, so here's what they sound like. In this recording the pipes are made and played by Mazzillo himself (with his stepson on tambourine) recorded in 1974: • Nicola Mazzillo and st...
