@luigiwithabeard98 fame and talent are two different things, what you meant to say is that slash will always be more famous than me. However, I would slaughter him in a guitar-battle any day 😏
Based on close to 10 years of observation of countless amazing guitarists on UA-cam, the boomer advice of not learning all the chords and tricks is clearly what it takes to be truly original. @ashergoober nope. Currently, I just play a classical guitar. Usually, Classical guitars don't have straps or the knobs for them. Acoustic guitars do have em, tho.

Hahaha, as a dad rocker , you hit the nail on the head, I do have eight electrics and four amps in my garage, but thanks to U tube I have been learning new chords.
I'm 16 years old right now and I can confirm I didn't learn a single chord since 1983, and I've got 2 vintage Marshall Tube Amps, and hundreds of classic pedals in my garage.
Liked the short, but you missed me! I'm a funk and R&B player who swings his guitar at "gunslinger" height. That way I can bring the funk and still rock the leads when the time comes!😎
Dad rocker😂 not surprised since my music taste is 70,80,90’s rock/ glam rock and a bit of metal. I don’t listen to a lot of 70’s rock but just the good stuff😂
This is so true! I used to play my guitar in front of my hips but these days I prefer to play my guitar at middle of chest. My bass guitar is in front of my hips though.
I play at the median in between the “dad garage” one and the “bass player” one. I play an Explorer body so I do have to lower it quite a bit to comfortably play. It looks great on stage too!
Wonderful, btw that forst position seems super comfy but I can't imagine doing cowboy chords on my weird tuned 8 string (still sweeping must be a little more accessible)
The dad rocker was the only one who played ANYTHING that sounded like music to me.... Any guitar player who says they don't hit a bad note is a damn liar!!!

I kinda loved the bit in the mid 2000s where all the indie bands had their guitars basically underneath their chin
Reminiscing about the Beatles.
And also the bit in the mid 2000s when crabcore bands did the opposite
Jimmy Page is definitely my favorite bass player

Billie Joe Armstrong is mine!
John Hendrix is the best at -2 string guitar.

I don't have a guitar strap. The guitar stays in the case.
