Andrew, true a number of countries in Asia restrict their citizenship... namely they don't like dual citizens among other things. I have the "right to residence" in two Asian countries as a US citizen, but I will never get my citizenship there. Not worth giving up my US passport yet. The countries I will mention don't exactly have established programs. I get this by my family ties. 1) India: I am of Indian background. I am a USA citizen by birth. India doesn't allow dual citizenship. I have what is called as an OCI visa. That is how I can reside in India. I have the right to work if I want it, but I don't see the need for India yet. 2) Vietnam: I am what they call a foreign spouse of a Vietnam citizen. My wife of 20 years is a dual US and Vietnam citizen. I get a visa waiver as a result. My wife is what they call as a Viet Kieu. Vietnam has a funny citizenship law. If you were born a Vietnam citizen, you can be a dual citizen and keep your Vietnam citizenship. If you naturalize as a Vietnam citizen, you must renounce your previous citizenship. That is why I will not get Vietnam citizenship.
I married a viet gal in 2020. In 2024 I got a viet citizenship on top of my USA. Vietnam has a few places to visit travel internationally that USA cant.

Good video! I call these programs citizenship *for* investment, as the goal isn't global mobility. It's an entry ticket to invest in one of the world's fastest growing economies as a local. In practice, the donation route is much more common. The business investment route must be under a qualified investment project (QIP). I would prefer countries that have autocratic governments that are more aligned with Russia, China, or Iran than the USA and the West
We look exactly like you would imagine a typical German to look. But if we travel with a Cambodian passport and the border officials see our faces, they could ask a million difficult questions. Are there any reports of experiences with this?
Thank😊
Thailand always good way
Its very popular among Chinese people
Khmer is very difficult to learn and many people in country side don't speak English at all. Its very difficult to deal with people of Cambodia if one doesn't has a Cambodian gf or wife.
It’s not as hard as Arabic or Chinese.
Khmer is on par with cantonese, so quite diffult. Mandarin is way easier.
You can buy knighthood? That is completely deflating the idea.
Knighthood is not the way anyone would ever describe the Ohkna. While it is technically a royal title, in practice it's more like being a made man in the mafia.
@@BangkokBubonaglia I want Ohkna so badly, to meet the king, and be made a noble.
Many retirees are moving to Cambodia
Easier to get long term retirement visa for less money and less bureaucracy. Cheapest alcohol in the region.
Make a long story short if you are Chinese mafia, you can become a citizen in Cambodia👍
Most places in Asia have this or by Investment, it's not the only one. Not the cheapest route either.
Which ones are we missing?
I'm going back to Cambo, Cambo, Cambo.....nah I don't think so. -LL Cool Jang
😂
I agree that being only Cambodian isn’t ideal, but how about being only Malaysian, South Korean, Japanese or Singaporean. These countries don’t allow dual citizenship but have strong passports, would you think it’s worth the trade off if you’re having to give up a tier A passport.
The Singapore passport is the best in the world. What Tier A passport do you mean? You just worship the white man.
Absolutely not worth it. The whole point of having more than 1 passport is that you have an escape route if your country starts acting up. It’s doesn’t matter how “amazing” these countries are … remember, America was once in the position that those countries are in now
If USA allowed all Cambodian to move there, there will be no Cambodian left in Cambodia 😂
How do you know? Than why do they don't like the Vietnamese for taking their land? And why do they love their flag so much?
Asia might be open to citizenship if you agree to be sterilized first. They can’t really make that a requirement these days, though.
Kyrgyzstan =asia
Investment visa 10 million soms
(90k usd)
Good for 5 years
Apply for citizenship after 3 years of residence
Citizenship by investment is defined as immediate after processing, ie: six months.
Andrew, talk about the Saudi's not renewing the petro dollar contract with the usa, what does this mean for the strong dollar living overseas long term?
You can get a Philippines citizenship if you live there for 10 years.
5 years if married to a pinay
Climate change isn't going to be kind to Cambodia. Regardless of that, it seems pointless to invest there, whats the benefit of throwing $250k away?
what climate change ?
dumb...
May I ask why?
Do they like Americans there?
Normal Americans are most welcome BUT arrogant, self centered and snobbish ones are not🫡🫡See american youtubers channels pertaining Malaysia eg Andrew Taylor

@@amiryazidali7659 I am referring to the US bombing of Cambodia during the Vietnam War. I heard Americans are not so welcomed there because of that.
They love Americans
It's a shame Asia is so damn hot and humid.
I would say the opposite about Ireland!
@heythave
Yes and that clime is perfect for me.
I take vacations to Iceland in February.
Dead Kennedy's: HOLIDAY in Cambodia (Don't live, holiday!)
how are the Cambodian girls? 👯♀️😍
Do not do Asia unless you are married to one .
Iv seen them all in Asia, they have shifting goal posts ,and all way with a new ideas in the new model to get westers in .pls .
This is not in no way to discourage nomad capitalist in his business to guide you ( but) .
While we have global change in play and commerce being protected in various countries mainly Asia and Europe stay put in the west and see who is rooting who in the global family.
And Malaysia is out really.blady dumb arse government.
I say again the Chinese that are there citizens who made the country rich ,o and the Indian s ,these people s have a different id card to ,those Malaysians that are really from indo not native to that island is yet to come up in the future courts.
So have a look at what was offered before COVID and look now people do your research,a shit the hospital.

If you are in Asia, then why are you always wearing winter clothes?
🧐
In a building with cold A/C.
@@heythave then you haven't live in Asia in your life 👍
@@gh0strec0n If you say so. He’s a persona that he has created for business purposes.
“They don’t care”, except you can only get citizenship by descent. In the West we’d call that racism. In Asia it means Asia is for Asians.
It's called protectionism. All South-East Asian countries were colonized by European powers except Thailand.
Why the hell would you want to live in Cambodia? There are dozens before that…
Who said you should live there?
i thought like that 7 years ago. Now I hate leaving. Last year I traveled to Vietnam for 30 days and my heart yearned for Cambodia. Everytime I leave I become homesick for Cambodia. Now I just need to find a Khmer wife and then Cambodia will go with me wherever I go. Khnom Srolanh Kampuchea.
Africa is for africans - Idi Amin Dada
so go away from western countries
The weather in SE Asia sucks
Too hot and humid
👎👎👎👎👎
You don’t have to live where your citizenship is.
I love the hot weather.
Sucks compared to?
If you live in Cambodia. There is a province call Mondulkiri where temperature is quite cool around the 70s.
Never ever take up a citizenship in any third world country everywhere in the world from Asia to Africa to South America ….. 😊
DONT PROMOTE MUSLIM COUNTRIES!
It's pretty arrogant to tell someone what they can and can't do on their platform.
There's quite a few Muslim countries that are thriving right now and I don't see that slowing down.
yeah they suck at all levels... but some dudes forget about human rights
The only recognised Muslim group in Cambodia are the Cham, and they are a minority. The Khmer that I know are very much Buddhist and in general kind and good people.
Dude, you are an ignorant donkey. Cambodia is one of the most Buddhist country you can find on this earth.
Almost all the Asian person are fleeing and you just want to go to Asian. So ridiculous!
why are they fleeing? And where are they going that they think is better? I'm very interested in hearing your thoughts
My Thai ex-gf relocated to Vancouver, Canada and is absolutely miserable there, she'll be returning to Bangkok at the end of the year.
Drivel. Who is fleeing?
@@zonansg4212 As far as I know, that many Chinese people are immigrating illegally to US and EU while so many Hong Kong citizens are abandoning their country and fleeing to UK, Canada or Australia. People in Indian also contribute a lot in these legal or illegal immigrants. And people in Vietnam, Thailand also want to leave their country. I was a Hong Kong citizen and now I’m living in UK. I have to admit that UK is in deep trouble but Asia’s economy and living surroundings are worse than you thought.
Asia is good for westerns that have money, that's why. Asia is not good if you're broke.
Is this an AI video, bloke doesn't look real 😂
