I guess when it comes down to what was available at the time, you did an excellent job of picking out the best spot available. One thing for sure is paraglider's are King when it comes to small landing fields. Oh, and obviously these are all your landings LOL. I'm sure you have many many more that are just basic routine.
In many of landing approaches I could find better landing area. I think you can pick a safe landing spot when you have enough height. Then make your approach making sure that your glide angle is leading to safe spot (with 10m in hand extra in light wind conditions which You can always loose with manipulation of brakes and flight path. If your landing spot is thermic then you can loose your height by manipulating brakes but few meters before touch down slowly ease your brakes Abit so that you can get a good speed in air and flare for soft and controlled landing. Happy landing take care. 😊💐👍
This was in a task of PrePWC and everyone landed safe. We was lucky and no gusts was created. Even pilots near the mountain than had lot of rain until touch down landed without problems.
Have you tried mapping a route before flight? You could use googlemaps to find a route you're comfortable with. But I agree - entering an area without a proper LZ is scary (no to say stupid). Luckily you can check for one while rising in a thermal.
Poor decision making. Chose you landing area early. Don't leave it too late and hope to find a better area just around the corner. One day there won't be one!
This is my new video

Cool vid
Despite some lee-side approaches you did a good job.
You guys seem to have some windy days down there in Greece.
Safe flights!
Uwe Minder Most of the days after 16:00 we have strong see breeze.
Great stuff, as my flying instructor always said any landing you walk away from is a good one! Nice music whats the track plwase?
Hi, the track is Marionette / Letter Box
This is all the same pilot? Sketchy!
Yeap
Some very carefully planned landings there, well done.
Steve Wright Thanks
I like your video....
Dian Chaner Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Great landings. I learnt a lot just viewing. Cheers.
Well done - happy landings!

hello, which wing is? gradient. ...
I wonder what happened to the paraglider who was much higher than you when the rain started?

a good video - happy landings
Nice one! Do you ever land in the same field twice? 😀
Skippie This would be a bad luck:)
And that´s why I will never become a good XC flyer. Not having a quite good landing area make me discomfort

I think you must be a fairly competant pilot to survive so many potentially terrible landing spots. Maybe there isn't many easy landing areas?
In Greece if you want to increase your X Country flight the possibilities of difficult landing increases dramatically.
Cool
Ufff.
song name pls?
Marionette / Letter Box
Extreme, definition - Extending far beyond the norm: an extreme conservative.
Extreme landings? I think not.
Looks like you pull on your breaks a lot with no head winds, could be bad but kind of hard to tell.
Poor decision making. Chose you landing area early. Don't leave it too late and hope to find a better area just around the corner. One day there won't be one!
