I just completed this model earlier this morning. This was my second HMM model I built after the Rev Raptor, and I think I may have bit off a little more than I could chew... The assembly of each section was pretty easy, straightforward, but also tedious. Then came the final assembly, and as I was putting on the legs, my decision to not use glue, bit me in the ass, and the entire body collapsed in my hands. And it seemed like once I got a piece back on place, another fell off. Eventually, I managed to get everything back in place, and I glued down some particularly obnoxious parts that aren't supposed to move. The pose I have for it is not perfect, but it still amazing next to my brother's Blade Liger. It almost destroyed the hobby for me, but no. I got 3 more preorder.
I had the exact same thing happen with the Geno breaker. Finished putting it together, try to pose it grenades in my hands. I spent two hours putting the neck and torso back together gluing everything down. It’s pretty solid now. People say the ligers are the most annoying. I think it’s the Geno’s.
If anyone can answer this for me I'll be grateful. What's the difference between the original HMM Genosaurer I have and the Repackage version in term of parts? Do they have same amount of parts or does the Repackage have more? And what's really the overall difference between the 2?
The repacked geno saurer actually comes from the molds of the geno saurer raven version but in the 1st release geno saurer color scheme. The 1st release geno saurer can’t actually do the charged particle cannon pose gladly kotobukiya fix the issue on the raven version and repacked 😄
OmoCha Reviews just some molds on the tail part connecting to the body. There’s a website called dalong.net there is a thorough comparison and review of zoids model kit there!
I have the original Geno Breaker but recently I've been noticing these repackaged versions. Do you know what has changed with these new repackaged ones?
The latest trend for Kotobukiya is repackage and marking plus Zoids. When it's a repackage, they fix issues from the previous kit (for example, the original purple Genosaurer couldnt pose in a charge particle gun pose before). When it says Marking plus, they just added in new decals :) The repackage Genobreaker isn't out yet, but the original one had issues with its tail and boosters, so fixes on those might be what's coming soon!
Geno Saurer looks cool. But the Berserk Fuhrer is BADASS!!! Just got mine in bone color ver., but yet to have time assembling it. Don't know how it's color gonna come out in real life. Nice review, though. :)
Same issues, and Geno Saurer was a nightmare to build because of the small parts but it feels great when you finish. I also wonder if we got this from the same online seller. I also got a free Raven recast haha.

The Genos can really break your resolve, get the Fury to recover! Lol

Heat the plastic "wire" and bend it slightly.

What did you do to the Main Guns? They have a Marble effect how did you do it?
Rub a graphite pencil on a sheet of paper and dab it using cotton buds :)
