Sometimes it's actually nice to be bottom tier, as a support tank it's easier to not have as much responsibility as the top tier tanks, while playing what's basically challenge mode. There's nothing more satisfying than having a good game as bottom tier.
As if anyone ever thought about his team winning instead of maximising his profit.
I love being tier 8 in a tier 10 battle. More XP, damage, and credit potential. Only the trash players complain in chat about being bottom tier.
Loving your channel. As a keen but new and inexperienced player, these gems of advice are very helpful. My friends and I can slowly see our game improving so thanks and keep it up.
I find it sad that when im in a tier 8 tank and the tier 10 heavies are spamming gold and can one-shot you, you only learn that you were in the wrong place
I don't look at tank types. They don't really matter.
I don't look at +/-2 matchmaker. That doesn't really matter.
I don't look at the number of arty. That doesn't really matter.
THE ONLY THAT DOES DOES MATTER.. is 'team skill'. I.e. what is the skill composition of each team. And yeah, I have XVM turned on. It is the most accurate prediction of what will happen in battle. And with today's shit player-base, it's even more important than ever.

Last night I played about 30 battles. Of which, 20 of them were between VERY differently skilled teams. I.e. one team had most/all the skill, while the other team had litle/no skilled players. And, without exception, the higher skilled team won every time. Usually withing 3-4 minutes.

The other 10 battles where the skill between teams was 'roughly' equal, they were all a crap shoot as to who won. (Which is the way it SHOULD BE, matchmaker skill-stacking teams is inherently unfair and unsportsmanlike).
I agree with 2 out the 3 "don't look" points. I definitely look to see how many arty, and especially if they have a Bat Chat arty. It's easy to follow arty tracers now and know when they are on reload to get a longer peek from cover.
Funny you mention XVM, I run it too. Last night I was in a battle where my team only had 3 orange players, no red. The remainder mostly yellow and green with one blue. The other team was almost all red. It was over in 3 minutes. Battle chat was rolling 😆

Lowtier is only a trouble, when you yoin with a stock tank against 2 Tiers higher..In Premiumtanks iam allways happy to meet higher Tiers. Its more income. But when you have to fight with a bad crew,and stock tier 6 Tank against t8, maybe 80%, its no Fun. The +2 Matchmaking should be changed. Or maybe only from Tier 8--10.
New Player die from Tier 1-9 fast,to get T10 Tanks.. With no practise,we see 4 min Battles with 15-2..
I hop in a game right after this vid end and guess what! the enemy team have some ridiculously better tanks and our LT die in like 3min into the game yet i still manage to farm 4k dmg and win the game, it was intense! I was having a blast! Best game of the day!

Bottom tier games are fine until you drive a tvp vtu, churchill gc or another tank that's simply dreadful. And yes you should still give it your best try but don't expect miracles even if you have 5k+ wn8. On the other hand driving such tanks also lowers expectations and at least for me let's me play more relaxed and make better game decisions
Mindset is always an important and often very underestimated tool, our subconscious constantly needs fuel to lead us to the desired direction which is the mindset in this situation. Good job!

I wish it wasn't the case, but I guess it's a way of wargaming forcing people to get premium, premium tanks etc. to make silver

the thing i hate abt +2mm is in so many situations its just "damn guess ill just press 2 to pen"
Its annoying that you have to use premium in a lot of situations when your bottom tier but unfortunately its the only way to pen some tanks and even then sometimes not enough *cough* 279e *cough*
@@ChadleyWalters Yeah let me laugh a bit when my standard shell of the IS6 barely pen 190/220mm in tier X game... Heavy tanks should NOT be put against +2mm, this is unplayable at all.
You don't go from 61%WR to 64%WR by firing premium ammo. In F2P experiments we have seen that the difference is 1 shots (usually a bit less) more damage in average.
Yeah, I know it's not that much of an impact at the highest level, It was just to explain it's importance in some cases and that if you want the maximum you have to use it.
@@ChadleyWaltersSince using gold ammo more freely, as well as other stylistic changes, my wn8 has gone from ~2800 recent to ~3400 recent. My recent WR has gone from ~57 to ~60-61
The One thing that annoys me is the proportion that i got +2 and -2 mm, i got like 10 +2mm for each -2 thats the ONLY thing that i hate and makes me mad.
only hate +2 when im playing t6 stock tech tree against wgs tier 8 premiums that are better than some tier 10s
i do like to be at the bottom tier, more credits and exp. And you can always blame top tier players for fcking up the game 🤣

Yeah, the higher the tier tank you damage the more xp. Equally shooting lower tier tanks gives you less xp

On my server when this happens there is almost always a chieftan/279e/any other clanwars or reward tank on 1 side who ends up with 7 kills & destroys the other team. What then?
There’s some valuable advice here but it’s buried in fluff and repetition. For something like this a script or at least bullet points would be good.
Very inspired player with CS-LIS, at the end of the battle, when there were 4 armored vehicles left on the whole map, he waits fixedly at the corner where the opponent came. Wow! Doesn't he also guess the lottery numbers? Do you know how he knew that an opponent would come there? From an illegal way that I think all good players use.
i know its been a month, but you might want to take a look at the minimap, it was pretty obvious the enemy would come around this corner

being in a centurion I with the 17 pdr in a tier x match is just not good.

yea but theres a difference between playing a tank that can go up against t10 or a ht that you simply have to play bc of missions, such as vk 75.01 K, where you get penned everywhere by standards, let alone gold. Ur slower, worse vr, worse gun and simply no effective armour

How U move ur camera so high over ur tank?
It's a setting within world of tanks that enables tactical view which allows you to zoom right out

@@kOOsmaty you have to use the scroll wheel and just keep zooming out like you would normally zoom out and it will raise higher above the tank 😁
The biggest problem for me is, that I'm getting often bad teams. I'm had it the last time very often. I'm had over 7 weeks bad teams after bad teams. Was full with reds and orange players with that you can't win. Even if you play tier 8 and the 9s/10s are shit bots you can simply do nothing. I'm a midrange-player and if I'm the midrange player are the best of my team, I'm can be afraid to get 1,5k damage out the match, because the enemies are rolling so fast over my team. Matches witch ending in the best case with 1-5 to 15. You can only get better if you have better players on your side. Wargaming has to fix this sh1t matchmaker.
I spend most of my time playing with my favorite tanks which all have an average win rate of 60%, my best tanks even having 65-66%.
Recently, I bought a new tank and I am going thru the usual pain of grinding a stock tank. Guess what happened to my win rate? Because I cannot carry my team and therefore I depend on my teammates to win, my win ratio dropped to a 40% with this new tank.
My point is, I understand the pain the average player must go thru in his usual games. It sucks to depend so much on an unfair march making.
@@wxyzmarkus6834 Well the first rule I am have learned is never to play stock. You have to use free xp. Believe me, there are some days there in wich everything works like it should. The team is well - they play together and i am hit all my shots and on the other day nothing works. If I am have a bad winrate, but made with 3k damage the most damage of my team in a tier 8 on tier 10 match, I am can only say: this whole game is a fraud. wg gives midrange player a while the feeling, that they can progress and then they f|_|ck them up to drop them. I am had very often also the situation, there I am a oneshot and the enemy with a 10-11k wgr was a oneshot - and what happend? I am getting lowrolls and bounces (even by a green penmarker on a weakspot) on them and they can take me out. This is why wg wants to keep their stats high and my stats low. If you use xvm, you see all the fraud is going on. wg puts 5 greens + 2 blue players, some yellow players into one team and the other team is full with orange players, has only 4 yellow players. This is why the streamers in my opinion do not use xvm, because everybody could see their matchmaking.
The first rule of wot is MM decides who wins. Not the average player. There is only a 10% to 13% variance in very good players over coming the unbalanced mm when it stacks one team with tomatoes and the other with the greens etc. You usually know real quick which team you are on. And, if you are f2p... It's likely you will be on the wrong team. Lol.

"same rules apply to everyone" ??? I do not believe! For example: the RNG is not the same for everyone! And the accuracy of the shots is controlled by the RNG.
You seem to completely disregard match making consistently putting you in the losing team. I have spent weeks being in craptastic matches where a good game is my team having only 5 kills as we get utterly destroyed.
How do you not want to think, as a tomato in your stock tank with a 75 % crew, of the potential of getting framed by the unicums with maxed out op tanks and 7 perk crews on steroids?
Why do you youtuber think that getting competitive against players on an 8 hours a day time budget is possible for the average player on a time budget of 3 hours a week?
Nonsense video, the people who need this advice are those who do not watch videos to get better. I get angry at low tier after low tier game, because of the frequency and the missions i need to accomplish, because i have to shoot prem and it often doesn't penn anyway, because with all the features they add to give advantages, lower tiers get LESS (example field Mods, below T8 you can't get CVS). T6 vs T8 is just so much cannon fodder and getting worse with every update. Because of this you always need to play twice as hard (or more) to stay in the game.

There is no unicum that does not use gold, but on the other hand, if you use gold, you are not a real unicum, but just pay to win.
